PLL is basically dead in North Carolina

Could enhance our odds with a Musk SlI deal

If that happens, game changer.

Got to think Musk is looking right now for a new partnership

El Dorado is conveniently located between Tennessee (Ford EV battery plant going in) and Texas (Austin, Tesla Gigafactor going in). Once JV execution occurs I’ll sleep like a baby regardless of day to day price movements…..

If the hat tip on Cramer was truly for us then I would expect he understands that atleast a segment of the shareholders were putting weight on that promise and date. I suspect he will update in some form shortly.

Tetra has nothing to do with SLI.

That was a misconception and will be cleared up in the PEA release. That entire project is being rebranded to make the separation more apparent. Tetra’s PR says that they, Tetra, aren’t prepared to harvest. It doesn’t say Standard isn’t prepared to do it. Standard is scoping acquiring the feed stream on their own, decoupling from the bromine process.

Seems(thinking) that Mintak has a huge scope, seeing the BIG picture...locking in the WHOLE GULF area, AR-LA-TX-(TN)?area . He sees the future and is staking it out...big tech going on here, big brine up!

Are there any negatives that could come as a result of decoupling from the bromine process or is this ALL positive?

I would imagine there could be more costs involved with having to pump it out of the ground on their own dime?

Is it possible that those costs would be offset by not having to share profits with another company?

Everything to me appears they are creating separation from Lanxness or atleast developing some independence.

No JV. Built more of pilot plant than originally planned. Much expanded scope of PEA. Shelf offering application.

Tbh, I always thought lanxness was coming out like a bandit with a 70 30 stake and basically full access to the tech.

SLI full steam ahead with some independent commercialization is a much better prospect to me. Otherwise, we are dependent on JVs and FIDs for the life of the company.

but remember this is the south...Lanxess is well known and opens doors for a CANADIAN COMPANY....all thru the GULF region....the tech is the gain...but no product, no tech.needed.

Thoughts from Smackover, GeneralLee, and Fe_Mike? And anyone else for that matter, of course.

I have a gut feeling that something happens next week. No basis. Just gut.

That 4M share trade, likely a dark pool trade, just before the close earlier this week had to have been something. I think a big PR comes in the next two weeks is my guess, and with that we might have color on what the 4M share trade was about. Been so wrong on timelines with this that I want to leave some wiggle room!

Can you explain "dark pool" to those of us newbies?

Damn that means this board is #3 now on the ETF biggest holders. Van Eck, Wilderhill, then TD money.

Blows a whole in my theory that that trade was a use of the shelf offering to go up to 40% on the JV…. Still could very well happen, just means it didn’t happen with that specific trade.
