Yeah, I don't think a competitor necessarily means anything bad for us, just interested because of GM being involved.
I do have some concern about competitors hurting the potential money to be made from licensing the technology, but I think in that regard first to market could be an insurmountable advantage if lithium demand spikes before CTR can even get their product to market.

Maybe the most relevant issue is there is no stock to buy for Lilac Solutions or CTR....yea, they might compete but SLI is ahead with commercial size pilot plant..still don't know why SLI just doesn't build all their equipment in US and bypass Canada. Time is money.

What makes you think they won't?
They just built a pilot plant in Canada because that's where they were.

Good perspective about these limit orders. It’s one thing to place a limit on a stock that’s thinly traded to control your cost or something way out of the money in case you’re not watching, but people that place daily limit orders are head scratchers for me.
Not sure if that was the case here, but imagine not buying a stock you want because you were holding out for an additional 1/5th of a percent, or because you had a set amount of money and wanted a nice round 1500 shares, or any other immaterial reason.

I’ll take everyone else versus GM.

That's why they built it in Canada. Building of commercial plant will start soon enough. Areas are prepped. Have to build extraction modules. Will be optimizing and tweaking production with demo plant and unit they just brought down. Lanxess is buying all of current and future production for time being.

ouldn't count on that. Lots of news that could come any day. Good luck with that.
No one makes me buy more shares like Smack

OK, but the message I keep hearing is that whatever plants/eqipment they're building, it ain't in production until the border is open. Right? Like they're building the modules in Canada and shipping them down to Ark. Or, they're leaving a critical final piece of production in canada, or something...Or, the canadians make the solvent and can't export it. I don't know, but maybe you do. Smack, don't get me wrong, I appreciate your uniquely close perspective...

You way behind. Press release last week SiFT. But it's been there for just a bit. Border was closed to non-essential travel. I guess everybody misses where they say the demo plant has been running for a year or more. Can produce 150-200 tons. It appeared one module was delivered with SiFT. It's on Lanxess to build the rest.

Got it, Thanks. Good to hear. When will the commercial grade plant start up? Is the SiFt plant sized for the commercial plant....just wonderin'. ....next on the list

Will have to run and optimize process before start on megaplant. Should be started within calender year. Shouldn't take long to get up and going. Will probably still be in phases to start producing sooner. 20,000 tons. Demo plant will continue to produce and Lanxess will buy providing income for Tetra project.

Im hoping the JV will spell out anticipated revenues and production stages.
Then perhaps a timeline for expansion after that.
Icing on top would be another JV with whoever they processed brine for in S America (albemarle maybe)

I always buy about 1-2 days before a news release. Think I get a good price, then it drops lower. News drops and all is good. If pattern holds, tomorrow should be a good day.

Need to rest of the market to chill out so we can yolo!
20000 tons should be close to 260M in revenue and he says can increase by multiples. 1B revenue
Pilot plant operating for 14 months. That is significant amount of time to work any kinks out and that should show revenue soon
Quick turn around to tetra investment, could see 2B in revenue if matches lithium anticipated demand and cost increases.
Again, everything will depend on speed and not hitting stride in a dumbass bear market or major correction
