As you keep telling me, follow the plan. SLI ain't going anywhere. It may get pulled down by the market, but the fundamentals are there for long term profits....

Wouldn't count on that. Lots of news that could come any day. Good luck with that.

I want 70 bruh

The gladiator school said I needed 2 million to buy my freedom

Do y’all think the ceo is being cringe by not pumping his stock and making it green? Like he could put some pics up on Twitter and we could be at 5 right now. Get some guys in hard hats and photoshop Elon in. His duty is to the shareholders and I feel like I’m being bullied rn

Anybody familiar with this CTR company and how their direct extraction process differs from SLI?

Just loaded more shares at $4.75. Up to an even 150K shares now, no more adding for me unless it drops down to the low $4's.

FYI I'll be off the grid on trip to Montana from Wednesday through next Monday, so no posting from me then! Hold down the fort till I get back....

FYI Canada just announced that it will open borders to vaccinated Americans starting August 8th, maybe that'll settle some of this hysteria down...

Thanks for bringing this to the thread.

Interesting read, haven't delved further into CTR other than the GM article that you linked, which included the statement...

quote:

The first stage of the Hell's Kitchen project is expected to begin yielding lithium in 2024, helping GM to meet its aspiration of eliminating tailpipe emissions from light-duty vehicles by 2035.

So there's one difference. Their timeline. Now versus 2024 would be about a 3 year difference.

Interesting though why GM did a contract with them as opposed to SLI. Or was that an option for GM?

ETA: It's not a contract, I just reread the first sentence.

quote:

General Motors has agreed to form a strategic investment and commercial collaboration with Controlled Thermal Resources to secure local and low-cost lithium.

I would like to know the same. Looking up now to see if they have a patent on the process but I'm not seeing it.

EDIT: LINK About Lilac Solutions

Lilac Solutions is a mining technology company based in Oakland, California. Lilac has developed a patented ion exchange technology that facilitates production of lithium from abundant brine resources with minimal cost and ultra-low environmental footprint. Lilac’s mission is to increase lithium supplies needed for electric vehicles and renewable energy storage.

I think SLI is in front of CTR. GM backing them can go a long way though.

I feel like you boomers tricked me into buying this to teach me perspective in life and patience but it’s not working

I feel like I’m one of those aurinia pharmaceutical thread people that have been stuck in $12 stock jail for years but $12 stock jail has got to be better than $4 stock jail like we’ve been in for as long as I can remember
