52-wk low is $3.67. As long as it stays above $3.70, I’m buying without hesitation.

Love the business concept and the idea but I hate the stock action on this one here recently.... Geez it gets so old to watch it crash with the market and then stay flat on days when the market rips higher.
Management might have to find some cash for some insider buys to turn the price action on this one around.
Just gonna HODL it and focus on most of my money being in money market funds and SpaceX....

How do you purchase SpaceX?

There are avenues, but you have to be an accredited investor. Very illiquid investment though, basically you don't have any exit liquidity until SpaceX (or Starlink) goes public. Most of my SpaceX holdings are in my Roth IRA's as the illiquid nature of it doesn't affect me as much there.

So you losing confidence in this play or just letting it ride out because you have plenty of shares already and see better days way far away?
Posted on 7/6/23 at 1:22 pm to LSUSLU106
It's a weird dichotomy for me because I've never been more confident in the business concept, but the stock is trading like dog sh*t, especially over the past few weeks. CFO resignation and insider sales don't look good to the market and they're taking a beating because of it. Hopefully this is a darkest before the dawn type moment and we'll laugh about these days when it's above $10 in 2024. I am letting my shares ride but am not purchasing anymore due to position sizing rules I have in place for myself.

What are you expectations for the big announcement in August?
Do you think management will come through?

Dual train O2 plant to be built by year end 2026, combined with partnership announcement to fund dual train without dilution of equity holders.
Updated financial projections including the O2 plant changes along with the margin contribution from higher value products (carbon black, biofuels, etc.) that weren't contemplated in the 2021 SPAC presentation.
Confirmation that they are using wood based feedstocks in the O1 plant instead of corn starch, validating that startup is going well.
Confirmation of ~$40M-60M revenue guidance for '23. (I think they'll come in at $40-50M depending on when they switch away from corn starch as the feedstock used for the startup).
Hiring new CFO that should be a major improvement over Nate Whaley.
I am hopeful management will come through, but the daily stock beatdown is affecting my psyche on this one. Usually doing the opposite of your emotions is the right thing though!

Do not own any options at this point, but Dec 2024 $5 calls priced at $1.25, or $125 premium. I mean, this SEEMS like a lotto ticket, right?

Ik…
I can’t remember why I bought this stock.
I guess I thought it had no where to go but up.

I agree chart is terrible looking. I’d better get at least $10-12 out of this to compensate for the stress of holding it!
This is definitely not a good short term play. I'm holding it for many years to try to get an ENPH type run out of it. If the tech scales, that level of returns is feasible here as the market demand is for 100+ of their plants if margins are anywhere close what they projected.

seems like the confidence in this script is slowly going down.
I plan to hold for few years.

primarily driven from the stock price performance to date (for me at least). Management continues to execute very well to plan and the industry dynamics that are driving demand here have never been stronger. If they can execute, it should easily be a multi-bagger long term. I think the stock market is very concerned with the financing for O2 with bonds looking to be over 10% interest rates. If they can cobble together alternative financing (government grants, industry partnerships, etc.) and avoid/minimize exposure to high cost debt, that should be a huge tailwind for the stock price at some point. Until then, I'll hunker down and HODL!
