DHT paying 34% Dividend

Anybody on this board chase dividends? Looking at DHT since it’s current divy is a respectable 34%. Don’t wanna jump in and then hear about a dividend cut right after I buy. Any opinions from the learned money board gurus?

The dividend has moved from $0.02 - $0.08 range to $0.30+ for the 3 quarters of 2020.
Without having any idea on the company, I would assume it goes back to the previous range before long, but I have no idea.

Their dividend hasn't been very stable in the past, nor have their earnings. There was a big dividend increase from last year that corresponds with a jump in income. Forward estimates are for a sizeable decrease in earnings for 2021 compared to 2020. It's not reasonable to expect that dividend to stay that high over a long period.

Yahoo's finance app says DHT has a dividend of 1.92 (34.04%).
I'm guessing thats where the op saw it?

Ahh makes sense. That would mean August was 48 cents. Not displayed on the screenshot I posted.
