You have it figured out it seems. The risk of pullbacks are real. We are experiencing one right now, and it’s has a lot of people wondering what the hell is going on. It’s definitely harder having less money to fund these things properly. I feel for the people that have been priced out. I got priced out big time in September, and had to wait about a month for things to recover. Hopefully the wait won’t be that long this time.
My bots still continue to churn out profits even with this shite market. Yesterday they made $172 and today I am at $185. Maybe some of the newcomers to this will have to decrease the number of bots they are running, or set the BO/SO’s a little less in the future. It’s definitely a learning process, but I promise you it works. Just tread lightly till you get the hang of it.

The app doesn’t have much function besides keeping up with your gains, and what bots are closing. I use the app at work when I don’t have access to my pc.

3Commas is telling me I’ve profited ~80 but it says my actual balance is ~70 less than what I started with. How is that possible?

Because the coins you still have tied up in deals are “down”. Essentially you have $80 in realized gains and $150 in unrealized losses.
MANA been carrying me through this. I’m pretty deep into my SO’s on the others, but excited for when they start to climb, should be some fun deals that close.

Just started and finding out that FTX.US doesn’t seem to have volatile enough coins to make this feasible. What exchange is everyone in Louisiana using?

to test this out, I used Sushi/usd and link/usd and both did a little work last night. about $3.00 on $150.00

Yeah I closed to deals on LINK, but haven’t had any luck with my other bots. The market is just not moving up or down enough to trigger SO’s or TP’s.

I wouldn’t , but you have to do what’s best for you. You are guaranteed to lose if you sell. That’s how I look at mine.

And we owe taxes on those realized gains, regardless of what 3commas does with it.

whats yall's plans regarding this? Just take out what's owed from your exchanges come tax time? Sorry if this is dumb but this is the first time I'm going to need to worry about something like this.
