Anyone here have experience with any of them? I’d be curious to hear some opinions from this board. I’m just now starting to learn about them. Seems hard to separate the wheat from the chaff on a lot of what I’m reading.

there are many different ones and ones you can set up yourself. I use the 3commas smart bot for every trade i make. altcoin collective has a bunch of the ones from Kucoin in use and do well with them. What is your overall question about them?

I know this much. The HUMBL oscillators trade blocks don't work for dick as I have mentioned in my thread about it

so the smart trade bot i use is a little different. It essentially allows me to set up a play off the graph with a stop loss that trails, mutiple take profit points and trailing stop take profit % that allows me to maximize the play i enter without having to manually do this by watching the play all day on kucoin.

also allows me to setup conditional buys based off the parameters i enter.

as far s teh grid bots on kucoin and the other bots on 3commas, i have not used them but plan to eventually.

kubyam on atlcoin collective puts good bit of these plays out and seems to do well.

I ended up setting up bots on KuCoin, essentially copying some high performers.

Easy process but to copy a high performer the "buy-in" is usually $500 plus.

Easy , easy process and I've been running 10 (Ku coin max) for 16+ days and they are all in the profit. Seemed too good to be true so I closed one to withdraw as a test and it was legit.

I'm going to set up 10 more in my wife's name @ 1K a piece.

Do Bots make it hard to keep up with taxes or is the tax software just as easy whether you have 100 trades or 100,000 trades using bots?

98,

My wife and I have paid for a software/website to generate tax documents and we register our exchanges & it tracks it all. The wild losses help. It is like $299/year.

If, and a really wild arse if, we ever really "hit" we will either set 40% to the side for taxes or , as an extreme, consider the Puerto Rico Act 22. That would have to be a significant tax advantage which would allow my wife to retire & fly to the island every weekend.

This has never been an investment, more of a gamble. I'm not going to skirt the IRS for basically a lottery ticket.

KuCoin is not KYC so there would be some options to move to a Nano and sell for cash/metals but the cut/vig seems close to short term capital gains taxes and you run the risk of getting murdered haha.

I have some friends, in real life , that are + 300k or more and they are more aggressive with tax "strategies". Right or wrong , they will EASILY get out at 0%.

What is the best resource to learn about these and how to set them up? Probably a rookie question, but why run 10x $500 bots instead of 1 $5,000 bot, or are you using them to arbitrage?

Aug1,

I'm not only a rookie but an idiot so please don't think I can provide a valuable answer, but here is my KuCoin thought -->

Using the volatility of the crypto swings & arbitrage over multiple coins to get more buys/sells. Some of my bots are more standard & respected like ETH and some are junk alts. The more swings the better from my initial understanding & win rate.
