I haven't churned anything in a few years.
We use Chase Sapphire Reserve for the most part now and I have Capital One Venture as a back up for international travel.

I have two platinum bonuses but one was a platinum through a bank or something like that.
I like the card a lot. The priority pass stuff is huge. The $200 airline credit is a no brainer. The clear membership is fantastic.

If over four years, consider product changing to a Freedom, and then applying for Sapphire Preferred at 80k.
As for Platinum, I think I get close. Even though I have CLEAR through Platinum I can't count that in good conscience when the Precheck line is faster at my airport every time. Same with $50 Saks. I wouldn't shop there so the real value is arguably less but I get socks and tshirts out of it.
Disney uses up the $20 credit ($240). I use UberEATS a lot, so that $200 is easy. I can burn $200 on SW with early birds and so forth. Walmart+ gets ad supported Paramount Plus and comes in handy for some delivery items. I don't physically shop at Walmart but if you did it probably would be useful.
So ya you can get there, especially if you hit a few Amex offers that work for you.
As an everyday spender Platinum isn't great but Amex Gold is. That will help you actually have a point balance worth something. If you can scoop Amex Blue Business (2x everything up to $50,000 a year/100k points), then you are cooking.

Unfortunately my home airport doesn't have one, but man I've seen these things absolutely slammed.
I was departing Cabo and we walked right in. 30 minutes later apparently everybody else got to the airport and the line was a hundred people deep easy to enter. I don't understand that at all.

Agreed on priority pass crowds. I’ve seen it happen a few times. I’ve yet to see clear not be advantageous over precheck though
The gold card is my normal daily user. The multiplier at restaurants and grocery stores is huge.

Clear would be faster if you weren't told to wait on assistance etc. Before approaching the machines.
The checkpoint I use, if the lines are equal or slightly longer for Precheck, Precheck is faster because clear is slow to fill their scanners with passengers.
I've read reports that Precheck is clearly faster at ATL as well. Lots of comments on CLEAR articles stating the same around the country.
I still have it because some places are notoriously bad like SeaTac, even for Precheck and I'm rolling through there in a few weeks.
I guess to the government's credit they've made Precheck pretty fast where I only have to hand over my driver's license (

Not a referral. This populated with the offer for me even though I wasn't logged in. Logged in and it stayed.
Also, on my current business card this offer showed if you scrolled down a little after logging in. It will only show once you click on the business card in your card stack that lets you shuffle between accounts (I have personal and business). Hopefully that makes sense to y'all familiar with the Amex interface.

Hotel is tricky. That's almost Globalist with Hyatt (60). I'd love to put 60 organic stays on Hyatt and earn 5x.
If you're not going to use your favorite chain's card, then Chase Reserve is 3x.
The only other non hotel cards are 2x tops.

Ya, I don't go nearly as aggressive as could be. Some of that is having kids and spend earning enough in the meantime, but I'm picking back up. Don't think I'll be that aggressive. Just slowly rotate around usually handles what I need for now. Once kids start coming along and I double my need things will change.
Use your dell credit? Seems like the Xbox GC would be great, but they don't process those consistently apparently.

The 200k offer can possibly be pulled up in incognito mode also if initially not targeted.
I churn/burn pretty hard. Sure all these CC offers are getting better but all of the sweet spots are spontaneously getting devalued also making things pretty par.
Dell blackballed the Xbox GC. I’m running out of things to utilize dell credit. Laptops, smart home devices, sound bars and my wife might kill me if another arcade1up shows up lol.
