My wife got a targeted offer in the mail for the Amex platinum, 100K points. Can I get I get the same deal (instead of her) using her promo code or does it just apply to her? I don’t know if it’s relevanr but I recently cancelled the business platinum but have never had the regular platinum.
I've tried with a friend and he couldn't use mine. I have gotten 2 65K Citi AA mailer, is this the one y'all are referring to that I can just churn? Has a 9 digit code.

Anybody taking advantage of this Iberia Avios promotion?
I was close to doing it but since I'm in Hawaii...

but I can't seem to find any reward redemption.
I wasn't seeing anything either so I didn't do it.

Anyone taking the Marriott 100k offer? To me it's basically 33,000 SPG points. Just not sure if I should use up a 5/24 as I think this would put me at it.
I'll ask again, anyone have thoughts on SPG nights and flights vs Marriott? Seems Marriott is better.

Partner awards on IB have to be RT. I found several looking out to next spring for transatlantic business class on AA metal.

You could transfer your points to Freedom (if you don't have Freedom apply for it), or possibly product change CSP to Freedom.
Then wait a month or so and apply for CSR.
You keep your points and get both bonuses.
He wouldn't be able to get the CSR bonus if he got the CSP bonus less than 2 years ago, right? I will be at 2 years with CSP this fall and was waiting until then for the CSR, assuming that I read it correctly.

Apologize in advance, as I'm sure this has been covered multiple times.
Looking to add another card that increases my cash back. Currently have Chase Freedom that gives 5% on quarterly rotating categories, as well as 1% on all other purchases. Looking at either Chase Freedom Unlimited which gives 1.5% on all purchase (and can combine points between the two cards) or the Citi Double Cash which is 2%. Does it make more sense to stick with another Chase card, or not? Am I overlooking a better option with another card?

Depends on where the majority of your money is spent
Popular choice is to pair CF and CFUnlimited with a premium chase card for the redemption bonus/travel rewards.
If you are stuck on cash back, you can look at the Amex blue cash preferred or the Costco Visa. Both have some popular category rates but the double cash is a good option all-around cash back card

I'm currently 14,000 away from hitting companion pass status with SW. If I hit 110,000 miles by September does that mean I get 3 months of companion pass or 15?

15 months
It’s the year you complete it in and the following year

Not planning on it. While the points are great, many of the benefits are duplicitous to the Sapphire Reserve, so I would rather just app something like the Ink Preferred.

I jumped on the Amex 100K mailer in January. I initially thought I'd end up canceling as well since the CSR benefits overlap too much to justify $550 fee. The 5x on flights was initially great, especially to hit spend, but then I realized that Platinum has little to no trip delay/cancelation protection and don't think the extra earnings are worth it. Recently I realized I end up taking advantage of the Amex Offers, uber, and airline credit (I just buy a SW GC) that I may end up keeping it. I haven't gotten much or any use of the other benefits like Hilton/Marriott gold, Fine Hotel collection yet. Ideally I'll call to cancel and they'll offer me a retention offer and we both win. AMEX is great for business class travel though, I plan on going Round the World next year.

If I thought I would use the $200 Uber credit, it might change the calculus, but I won't. I *might* get $50 a year out of it, or I would find myself using Uber just to use up the credit

It works towards Uber Eats too

Ya, sorry if I caused any confusion but that is true. He'd have to wait the two years. I thought he implied that much time had passed.
ETA: sounds like he got the bonus in October 2017 so he'd have to wait until that date in October 2019.

Ended up going with Sapphire Reserve. Once I get the card in, I'm going to transfer my current Freedom point balance to the CSR card and redeem them for 1.5 travel points for our trip to Disney this fall.
Now, I just need to figure out if I'm better off keeping the Freedom card or changing it over to the Freedom Unlimited.

I have all 3 which is really the best mix, if you’re willing to manage that many cards.
Applying for 2 cards in one day would have been ideal had you wanted to have all 3 though.

There's no reason to not keep (or get) both.
