AmEx incognito offers went up again today. As of right now there are still up.

Today's haul: EDP 30k (+18K with 3x at grocery stores), Blue for Biz 10K (upto 155K potential, need to decide whether I want to MS the $50K on it or not. Probably will), and 25K green. All approved. EDP was my 5th open credit card so there's that DP for max limit increased to 5.

Potential 228K MR haul. Unless AmEx claws back due to MS haha.

Bed time.

I'm seeing the Premier Rewards Gold 50k offer which is tempting.. I don't know if it's worth my 5/24 though..

Damnit I feel like I'm missing out...

Main concern since this first came out has been trying to hit 4k spend on my relatively modest normal budget

My payment to the IRS met my spend requirement. Freaking tax season

Wife - PRG, Green, Gold and BCE is still under review. Not showing on application status site tho so I'm not hopeful.

Question. I just got 2 new sw cards. Need to spend 10k pretty quick to book some flights. My house payment is 1600 a month is there a good way to buy a 1600 prepaid card so I can pay my mortgage with it and get the points? Thanks

Platiq is your friend. Just send payment 2-3 weeks in advance.
You might try Venmo as well. Simply give someone some money and have them give it back.
Plastiq
~3 percent fee for both.

My usual advice.

Instead of paying a fee to pay mortgage in advance, just go to your local grocery store and buy their gift cards at no fee and pay your groceries in advance.

I'm back on the market after getting through home and car purchases, etc. My wife is at 5/24 now that she got CSR, and I said, forget it, I'll never be that low and will just go gung ho.

I keep wanting to look at Amex but I create URs so fast I almost don't see the point, not to mention lifetime rules and devaluations, it is probably better to apply when I need them. I ended up going for Flexperks and Merril Lynch.

I have to cancel my Arrival and Cap One no fees to reset them for abuse down the road. Now that my credit has aged a bit more I think I'm good to dump them, keeping my wife's no fee Arrival open for CHIP and PIN for overseas. I of course, apply for the fee version and downgrade.

Are you a Merril Lynch customer? I wanted this card but I was just declined. It went pending review and I called recon. The crazy CR complemented me on my credit file and score but said they can't approve because I have "too much" available credit. What a joke. I hung up and applied for three more BofA cards and was instantly approved. (Wanted that Merrill Lynch though )

I hear you. But more and more I am starting to see CSR as fixed value redemption ops. When there is no awards available, I look to UR to book. These days almost everytime I am coming out ahead booking through portal (bec I fly Economy). My fight to SIN cost me $885 per person and the routing is so perfect. Flying out of my regional airport and back (UA + ANA). Awards as always, not available. On top of that, I am crediting to SQ Krisflyer for 100% RDMs. So 59K UR got me an RT to SIN (would've been 80K through transfer) AND 21K RDMs. 21K EQMs on SQ too but I could care less about those.

What I am getting at is now I am saving my UR for times like these. All other progs for transfers. Right now incog is awesome. Like I said, quarter million MR op for me from one HP and 3 cards.

Any chance Chase will approve 3 cards on the same day?

She wants the Hyatt and IHG and I want her to get the CSR in the branch. I know she's pre-approved for the CSP. She only has a freedom with chase that she's had for 5 years or so

Not a ML customer but couldn't give up the attempt. I'm pretty good about immediately lowering any limits I get from Card issuers to no more than 10K so that keeps my total credit outstanding from getting absurd. Hopefully it works out.

With CSR 1.5 those redemptions aren't looking bad at all. But since my wife can't travel internationally more than once a year I don't really have problems gaining the points for Biz class and having points remaining. I'm already good for Africa and will probably try to find a Korean 40k offer (I used to get these ALL the time) to save some URs if I can make that option work.

Still have 190k American for one ways if need be too.

Hit the Citi AA no 24 month language link for 60K and then again in 8 days for another 60K while you still can. Easy 120K AA. Thanks to all kinds of loopholes from Citi and some help from Barclay I'm sitting at lose to 0.5M AA. This is after I used about 150K in 2016

Does anyone know of a gas station that sells Amazon GCs in a denomination higher than $25? I need about $3K.

Someone is going to be doing lots of little trips to get that Freedom bonus complete.

I'll let you know if I run into one.
