You already got CSR?
Ya, I think I'm just going to do Hyatt + IHG. I stay at Hyatts for work and I can use IHG for travel with the wife

I would do the CSP. If your wife can refer you then you net 60K points. That is equivalent to 2 nights at a top tier Hyatt (30K points per night), with the option of using at any other tier.
So you are maximizing point potential. May not always be able to with free night certs.
Plus Hyatt isn't under 5/24, you can always get it. At $0 AF first year, i don't see a reason to go Hyatt (or IHG) over CSP.
So imo, you should get CSP + Hyatt/IHG. Personally, I'd go with Hyatt and get IHG later.
Better yet, if you don't have the companion pass, go for 2 SW cards since they are under 5/24.

Thought it was getting moved Q4.

My 2 free night certs haven't given me booking options for something I was checking out recently even when award options were available.
Was going to ask about that

No I meant that with FNC's you may not always be able to "maximize" them aka use them at top tier properties. With the CSP, it is up to you how many points you use where. So for me - 60K Chase/Hyatt points > 2 Free night certs (that "could be" worth 60K at the top tier). Just the added flexibility with points.
Yeah. Strong rumor at this point.
If award nights are available, you should be able to use FNCs. If not, then call in and they'll book it.

Honestly, I just feel too lazy to do the 5k in spending. I also am not sure if a AU card on my report fell off properly
Also, how long to get referral points? I should have 40-50k in referrals and right now I haven't seen any points. Those were back in July I believee

They should have posted by now. I would say call in, but in this case they will just say they can't do anything and that those people didn't use your link properly. You can try though. In my case, it usually posts in 1 or max 2 billing cycles, no more.

Yeah, referral points post pretty instantly when others get approved. Check if you're sending people the correct link.
Hyatt no longer waving annual fee and is $2000 min spend.

I just received my conditional approval for Global Entry. I'm going to be in New Orleans next week, but the next appointment isn't until the 17th. Is it still easy to walk in without an appointment?

An appointment is required up here. No walk ins.

Can I earn American airline AA points on Alaskan airlines?
The particular flight I'm looking at is partly operated by Alaskan air and horizon air.

Any others getting their replacement metal cards yet? my wife ended up getting the plastic one and was curious if they started shipping the metal versions or if the shortage was still ongoing.
Why does it matter?

Yes, you can. Just enter your AAdvantage number in the loyalty field.
Typically, mileage earning on AS is better than AA. And imo AS loyalty program is (much) better than AA today. Plus it is a partner of both AA and DL. If you are price sensitive (instead of loyalty) this is huge. I credit all my AA/DL/AS flights to AS for this reason.

Chase promised a metal card and they are dropping the ball on it.
Doesn't really matter why they want a metal card, they just do. If you got to control what you want/desire in life, I wouldn't have a problem forcing salads down my throat.

You're right, it doesn't matter. It's just stupid, and it's annoying to see it constantly in this thread

Not just this thread. Literally everyone who got the CSR can't stop talking about this
Posted on 9/30/16 at 11:03 am to AmeriKop45
It was the same with the Ritz card. I don't know how much the CSR weighs but the Ritz card weighs an ounce and makes an audible clank when you drop it. They had a time when they had to ship plastic cards and then replaced them with metal and people bitched on FlyerTalk about it.
