What denomination GCs are available at Sam's club?
What about Costco? I'll have to check next time I go.

I've never seen any at Costco.

In Houston, Costco has a very limited number of gift cards on offer. They are mostly local restaurants offering $100 GC for $80. I understand Costco used to sell Hyatt GC's at some discount, but not while i've been a member for the past few years.

And yeah, if you can circumvent the YQ that Korean passes down, Europe for 80K in J is awesome.
What's YQ, something to do with fuel charges?

So you could fly from HI to Europe and back to St. Maarten. All for 50/80K.
So you don't have to do RT leaving and coming out of the same place? Or are you saying go through St Maarten on the way back to HI? Would be interested in seeing how to pull that off.

I do wish I would've gotten that one a while back, but I definitely think the Ink is better and I'm glad I have it. Looking forward to seeing this Reserve.

That is where ANA shines.
Can you fill me in a little about ANA? I looked on a chart which showed 40k to Japan and 50k+ to Asia which seems good, is this done through UR and is it tricky booking?

Yes. YQ = Fuel Surcharge (carrier added).

They allow open jaws. So yeah, you could start from A and return to B.

MR transfer partner. Very good rates to Asia especially after they slashed their YQ significantly. Some of the best routing rules and cheapest miles to asia. Also a very flexible cancellation policy (1K miles charged upon cancellation).

Ok. Is it because of going through LHR? Or you don't really know until you call to book a trip?

Got it, thanks. I thought you had to do RT so this is getting better.

Only AMEX I have is SPG. If I ever get the 100k Plat offer I will go for it.

Yeah, looked very reasonable. AA was good until the deval.

How long does it take to get chase referral points? I have referred 4 people for CSP and haven't seen any points yet
Posted on 8/15/16 at 1:47 pm to GenesChin
Takes like a billing cycle for you to see them. Sometimes 2.
CSR link is now active:
Chase Sapphire Reserve
Website links through to Secure Chase website. The 100K language is present on the first page but after clicking through "apply now" to the app page, the language is missing.
Also, doesn't seem to be under 5/24 as of now. Cue mayhem .
ETA: Aaaaand its gone.

Did you get it? I missed it. Took too long reading about it on reddit before I decided to try it.

No I didn't. Probably the biggest mistake I've made regarding this "hobby." Oh well.

Would be amazing if this ends up being true

I doubt it will be the case when the app goes live again most likely on 8/21 next.
Posted on 8/15/16 at 3:42 pm to AmeriKop45
I can hold out hope right?
Also, how do you calculate when something falls off 5/24? As in, does Chase do it to the day of account creation or month?

If I were to open an account, can I call chase and have them next day my card?
My 5/24 has me open on 8/27 and I leave for a business trip 8/30. That trip easy puts me at spending minimum

Not likely. I got the CSP specifically to pay for an engagement ring and even though they promised to "overnight it" it took almost a week to get it from when I applied in the branch.

Is there still talk about Hyatt/IHG going 5/24 in Q4? I was hoping they could hold off until November 30 to do that
