Lol forgot about that part. Not much of a history other than student loan payments.
So what's the best plan? Beginner card such as Freedom/It or an airline/hotel as we have the trips coming up.

Just tried to use Ameri' s Chase Ink refer link. I opened up a SW business card in January and so they rejected adding more credit to my business.
Paid off the card in full every month + have credible revenues. Chase can suck it
Just going to close the SW and open up an Ink.

Do you have too many recent account openings? If not then you should call recon. You may be able to decrease your line of credit on the other business card. Chase has an aggregate credit limit that they feel comfortable granting to an individual. Once you cross that line, you're likely to get declined. (Some people report success of decreasing credit limits on other chase cards before applying for others)

My only other recent card was my SW business card for the same business.

They said there wasn't enough credit to do this.

They said it had to do with the business and having multiple lines for a business <1 year old

Without a doubt you should go for CSP next. Gets you started in the game. You will also be able to convert your plain cash back from freedom card to so much more valuable UR points. Your gf should first go for the freedom card. Go to Chasereferafriend and put in your info there since you have a card. Then use the Twitter button to generate a referral link which you should send her. If she uses that link to apply, you'll get an additional 5k point kick back in addition to her 15k. If she gets approved for that, she can apply for the csp as well on the same day. Or she can wait until Chase sends you referral links for that and then apply through that so you can get another 10k for referring her. This will also stagger your apps so it'll be easier for you to meet min spends. Don't add each other as AUs even though they give extra points. Not worth it at this stage.
After these 3 apps, you both will have plenty of points for a trip or two.

What a bummer. Literally no one I know has been getting the ink in the past few weeks. 5 denials.
You have the right idea though. Cancel sw and go for ink later.
It usually never makes sense to use MR, UR or TYP to hotels. Exception is UR to Hyatt. I still don't think it's that good as far as I am concerned. I find airline points so much more valuable so I save my bank points for that's
I'll leave y'all with this. Here is where my points recently got me.
Still here

Waiting for my sign up points for SW to clear on the 25. Told me I should be able to do a straight swap
Most annoying thing is one analyst said she'd recommend for approval only for my phone to drop the call. Called back and got rejected

Great help!
Last thing about the CSP and airlines in general. Should I apply for the airline cards? I already have the Delta Amex Gold because it gave the 30k miles on signup. Wondering if I should do the same with American Airlines.

If you're getting in the game, get 5 Chase cards first. Right now go for csp and freedom. Then 2 SWs (any 1 of y'all 2), then try ink, United. In that order. Then go for other banks and hyatt, ihg

SW?
And can I move UR points to her Ink Card or would it have to be the same account holder?

Spouses can transfer UR points to each other. I send my Freedom points over to my wife as she has CSP and those can be transferred out to partners.

Probably one of the most overlooked benefits of married folk playing the CC game together.

I am trying to do a Sun-Wed trip in July. No idea what to do or where to go. Any suggestions?

Another question
I have the Delta AMEX Gold for flight since I am located close to a Delta hub, but I have multiple flights coming up using American Airlines. I see they are running a 30k mile signup bonus plus $100 statement credit. Do that and boost my miles up quickly or wait and just apply for a CSP?

Be patient and 5 Chase cards before anything.

What are the biggest differences between the CSP and the SW Rapids Rewards Premier Card?
I'm looking to add a third and was with SW for a while but been a few years and was thinking about adding them again...I need to book some flights to LAX from NOLA. Right now the wife and I both have Cap 1 Venture and Disney Visa (mainly for in park benefits).
