Anyone have experience with the Citi Access More card? The wife broke her phone so I'm gonna use this to buy a new one with the, up to $650 phone credit.
I'll probably do it tomorrow along with a sapphire and freedom as she has two cards that will be dropping off and should be fine for the 5/24 rule. (and no amerikop...I will refer her myself
)

AT&T provides you a specific URL to use to purchase the phone of your choice online. This URL will be available either on the Citibank portal or through a direct email you receive. (Registering the Access More account for online management at citi.com/att requires you create a new citi user account, even if you already have one). Purchasing the phone counts toward your minimum spend to earn the $650 statement credit. The phone you select is purchased at full retail price and arrives unlocked. As such, when you purchase the phone through the AT&T portal and establish new service, you are establishing a new monthly post paid account without a contract. Therefore, 15 days in you can call and cancel the account.

We are currently with AT&T...anything specific we should do in that sense or is it a hurdle?

Does Office Depot sell $500 Visa or Amex cards that can be purchased with an Ink card?
Need to make a couple $500-$600 purchases this week. Might as well get some 5x pts.

No. $200 max. Same fee.
Staples online is $300 max for $8.95 fee.

Well, today was the day in 2014 my United enrollment bonus posted to my United account.
I figure I will wait until 3/20 to apply again.
I would think they'd approve or deny before 11 days went by and the 5/24 rule wouldn't be retroactive I'd hope if not come April 1st.
Or maybe I'll try on the 15th. Who knows.

1. In game thread with Citi Gold checking customer support.
Chat function was useless so they provided phone number. Been on hold for quite a while. Had to provide initial offer code to get help.
I didn't know if there were multiple codes, so I went back through the threads page and found a site I linked. I suppose I used that one. It's: 42ERCWNQU6 for 50k AA miles.
2. I paid my AMEX credit cards and BOA credit cards for my "bill pays". He is saying that these didn't qualify. I've escalated to a supervisor. Still on hold...
3. Supervisor refused to grant me points saying I didn't qualify. Strange. I made 7 or 8 payments to my AMEX cards and BOA cards. 2 charged differently than the rest, but I paid them all the same way. Dumb.
Now I have to write an email.

Yeah, I sent a very angry email. I'm sure that'll scare them in to awarding me my points.
I do have a valid argument. If I initiated and performed transactions the same exact way, and Citi codes them differently from one month to the next, how am I to know that? I have the emails to prove the transactions were handled identically.

Wow that sounds like bullshite.
They confirmed I had met the requirements a month or so ago two separate times so I'm curious to see if they try to weasel out now.
