Credit Card Reward Points - Best to just convert to cash credit?

Dont have a lot of points - but wondering the best way to use the points.

Travel? Hotels? Straight up cash/credit? Pay bills?

It depends on the card you have and what kind of points you’ve built up. Generally, you get the best value on travel redemptions.

Chase gives you 50% increase in buying power if you purchase through the chase portal on the Reserve card. So you could cash out for example $600 or you could purchase something for $900

I didn't realize it was a complicated question.

I have reward points.
I am curious as to which redemption methods tend to be most beneficial.
Seems pretty straight forward.

Well, how many points do you have? What company do you have them with? What are your transfer options?

Sure, you could cash out 75k points for $750 in cold, hard cash. Or you could do something really awesome like #1 in this link:

had no idea more information was needed

Wells Fargo and AMEX points

both around 50,000 points each

so nothing insane
