Just looking for hot IV for juicy premiums here. Let’s help each other out.

Sold 3 calls for .75 on RCAT today with a 1/17 expiry and strike of $20.

That’s a big one.
$222 collected (after $3 commission) using a position size of $4,221 as of today’s close. 14.07 x 300 shares.
A guaranteed 5.26% in just over two weeks? Yes please

I think selling cash covered puts is something close to a covered call. I sold 2 KURL Feb puts with a $3 strike at .64 this morning and the IV is 205%.
Got the idea from the KURL thread. Did a little research and thought I'd give it a small shot and see what happens.

Reserved $600 to make $128?
That’s killer.
Might have to see how those look tomorrow…

And yes, a Cash Secured Put is the mirror image of a covered call.
It’s the other side of the wheel strategy.

SOFI was on a good lil run with juicy IV and premiums for a while. Stock has pulled back so call premiums not as great but still solid.

Have been selling and rolling CC after the recent run-up stabilized around $15 in November.

For example, sold Feb 21 $20 calls last week for 0.68.

I’ve also been selling CCs on SOFI, which is a larger holding for me.

Sold a put this morning with $14 strike to collect $130.
Longer expiry date of 2/21 on this one.
If the stock recovers significantly, I’ll buy it back to free up the $1,400 sooner.

What do you have to pay for the Feb 20s?

Someone paid me .75 per contract and I sold three of them. So I collected $225.

Is that what you’re referring to?

Opened a CC on BBAI for $35 credit.
5.00 strike expiring next Friday.

Will just be happily to offload it honestly so the gains plus the premium would be nice.

If it doesn’t get called away I’ll repeat and collect more in premiums.

If you bought the Feb 20s, how much would they be?

1.05 or $105 per contract right now for 2/21s at the $20 strike.

I should probably close out and open new ones. I’d say roll but vanguard doesn’t allow rolling in my account. Stupid.

Buying the 1-month time spread for 30 cents seems like it's possibly a decent trade. What flat vol would it imply if you set both months to the same?

Is that a diagonal? I’m not as studied as I once was, and I’ve lost the knowledge.
What’s the play?
