Had some cash sitting around and bought COSTCO last week. I'm wondering whether to buy more or go for a large-cap fund.

My market exposure is mostly technology.

I should have told you. Whenever I buy they typically sell off quickly.

Just bought 2 12 packs today. We had an IT meeting last week and half the team brought 1 to the meeting. If half of us are drinking it then i can only imagine what's going on in the real world. I already own shares but may buy more before earnings.

Amazon has big sales every other month or on prime days where you can get a 12 pack for $15.00.

Not a bad choice, but the OP would not go wrong by adding even more to Costco. Very well run company.

Costco is an extremely well run, profitable company that is completely misunderstood by a lot of people. Majority of their profit if not all comes from membership fees. Merchandise and groceries are basically sold at cost to run the business, however they have very few loss leaders to get in the door. They also carry very few items in inventory at one time and turn it very quickly leading to very little waste. This makes them very efficient and shows why they can pay their employees so well and still compete on price.

They do not care about short term, and generally hire people who are life long employees into leadership positions. So the stock generally reflects this sort of slow moving ship .. or it should. The stock has a cult following primarily assuming that membership fees go up every 5 years. Which they have not done yet. However the stock by most measures is very expensive, but you almost always have to pay a premium to buy Costco stock relative to the market

I gotta think there’s plenty of market cap Celsius can pick up, especially overseas. It’s just about nowhere to be found in Europe.
IMO it beats the hell out of Red Bull and Monster taste wise and just about everyone I know that consumes energy drinks sticks to Celsius.

I opened a relatively large position on this one a few months ago around $51. Anxiety is high with earnings in 36 hours.
