that made me feel old.

I will say as a disclaimer to the thread the whole booking awards procedure can be cumbersome.

If you aren't prepared to spend a couple hours on the phone with a customer service representative or multiple to force a booking through then it isn't for you.

What are some of the better portals? I hold CSR Amex platinum and a few others - haven’t rightsized yet since I don’t travel for work as much now (obviously)

I'm lazy so I've just been using Rakuten and chose Amex MR reimbursement instead of cash back. If you're a cash back person it's still something instead of nothing. The app works well and isn't that obtrusive on a phone.

I don't have any complaints.

Yeah bought my new Note 20 Ultra from Samsung directly and it was 10% that day and I have Amex set up as well. Easy to earn a lot. I am dying to travel, I’ve built up millions of points withUR & MR right now.

I mean you can go on flyertalk and read the threads about them cancelling accounts for the very thing you are describing.

They have been cracking down on MS for the last few years this isn't a new concept

Looking for the most bang for the buck here. Wife (no pics) and I are buying a home and will be spending a bunch of money on furniture and other stuff. We plan to open two new credit card accounts. What is the best card? Probably won’t be traveling much. I already have a capital one card.

if I was doing MS for thousands a month or abusing WMBP or something similarly sketchy, I'd be worried

this? 0.00% chance anything happens
