Anyone up here ever have one?

Friend's wife (No pics) has one. They like it, and it's been very quiet and comfortable whenever I've ridden in it.

No experience with the Rogue.. But the Mazda CX-5 is a great similar sized vehicle that you may want to also look at.
ETA: CX-9 may be the similar size model.

I have a 2008, and it's a decent vehicle. It's made it to 100k miles with no serious issues.
Buddy of mine just bought a 14 and Nissan has defenitly improved on them.

Well, this rings a bell. I just spent a few minutes at Nissan this morning and the guy said 14 was popular and then they went larger and more expensive with 15. They got some feedback that buyers preferred the 14 so Nissan came out with another version of 15s with the same style and price of the 14.
I preferred the narrower body so it will fit into the garage without my hyper active wife swinging her car door open and causing a ding.

I agree. The 2016 fully loaded with iactivsense are pretty sweet and only $30k. I bought my wife one and she loves it.

nissans are great cars, but their resale value often sucks due to them being overloaded in fleets.

What is iativsense? I really don't want to pay for extra electronic stuff. I asked the Nissan guy if this car came with a rear bumper camera. He said 'Yes, it's standard'. I said "Can I have it removed? I know what's behind me."

That is utterly ridiculous

Sounds more like a dad joke than something serious.

Nope. I have never had a car with a rear view camera. But I had to rent a car with one for a day and it distracted the hell out me. I don't want a TV screen in front of me while I'm driving. I'm concentrating on speeding past the assholes driving slow in the left lane.

Right
Because the camera is on while you are driving
I will never own a car without a rear view camera again. The peace of mind of knowing there is nothing you are about to back over is priceless.

It's a good feature. You get used to it.

Iactivsense can prevent you from getting into a wreck or reduce the damage from a wreck. It's progression as far as vehicles driving themselves. But I forget you are old so it might not interest you. It also comes with the standard blind spot detection, rear cross traffic detection, and rear view camera.

I haven't parallel parked in 30 years. I live rural/ex burb. We have lots of space to park. This is a feature that does me no good.
Edit: Example would be this week. I backed out of my driveway and there was a vulture eating a possum carcus. I don't need a camera for that. The vulture knows how to avoid my car.
Deer are always a hazzard but they are not behind your car. Snakes, I always try to run over them. No need for a camera.

Jesus Gawd, Zach!
Tape a piece of cardboard over the rear view camera display monitor or put a piece of electrical tape over the camera lens.
