How much of LVVV are people on here buying?
Posted on 2/5/19 at 6:01 pm to Jake_LaMotta
It varies. I think the most anyone on here has is right at a million shares; some have as few as 10k. My guess is the avg has around 150-200k

If the money board wants to get me ~100k shares, I’ll go do a full report with pics and all.

Can y’all recommend some books to get started in investing?
I have no clue what any of this means, but want to learn.

Far from it. I think most who have jumped onboard from here intend to hold long, and that’s what I’ve recommended all along. I’ve said from the start that the end of Q2 ‘19 is the soonest I’d expect any big moves. I would hope anyone from here who is buying is doing it not based on my or anyone else's recommendation, but because they’ve looked at all of the information relayed, checked it out for accuracy, and decided if the business model is sound and worth investment.

Will this include product samples for us to test for quality assurance?

Of course, someone will have to test it. I’d love to but my job in the real world when I get back won’t appreciate that too much.

I will say I’ve read nearly every one of the stickied threads and posts. I will thank people like you for helping teach me a lot in a short time

The guy who put the sticky together did a great job. Tons of great info there on all topics. Invest in what you are confortable with. Keep learning. Don’t let any of the chicken hawks scare you away from real estate if that is a route you want to go. I’m sure you’ve seen my threads on it and links debunking lots of the nonsense posted here. I Invest in index funds also. I have three of them in my ROTH IRA. I invest in all kinds of stuff.
Nothing wrong with diversification.

As I have learned, my course has changed. Granted, a few years back I was kind of investing in just news with no plan in place with extra funds besides my real future savings. What I’ve learned recently and what I am most comfortable with will be index funds. I’ve done the math and at $1k a month in an index fund over 30 years is 2x more than I previously though i would need for retirement (again, this is all investments besides my actual retirement). I fully look to get into real estate as well but, outside REIT like O, I can’t purchase real estate on my own. I move too often for work to physically buy my own home until I know I’ll live in one place for a minimum of 5 years.

No offense intended as I like the marijuana thread and am hoping this works out for everyone. but this reads like every pump and dump ad i've ever read.

good. glad to see you have a plan. you will do fine.
i have invested in REIT index funds and individual REITS. you can do crowdfunding also if you choose not to do residential or commercial rentals. you have plenty time. Don't rush. you can trade futures which i love or do tax liens. or you can lend money. so many avenues for you to invest. find what works for you. then run with it! invest in the known before the unknown.

I’m a retired dentist whose entire portfolio consists of Vanguard 2035 Target Date Fund shares in a Roth IRA , plus 500K shares of LVVV (and I’ve documented every buy I’ve made since that thread started), but I’m orchestrating an elaborate pump and dump scheme?
No offense taken, I got a good laugh out of it. And every bit of info I’ve ever posted about the company is easily verifiable.
Likewise, prior to that thread, I alluded to the stock without naming it in a couple threads regarding a stock certificate. I didn’t start posting about the stock by name until after another poster mentioned LVVV first in the weed penny stock thread.

Yes, I’m the one with the big car notes.
Right now I have a Jag XJL and bought my kid a Mustang GT California Special. I’m eyeballing either a Vette Grand Sport or a low mileage 911, but probably not til next year. I’d consider an F-type if they still made them in orange.
A friend had a Maserati - he had bought a Quattroporte that was a couple years old. Beautiful car, but he got rid of it because it was in the shop more than he was driving it.

In the mid-90s, when I was in my 20s, I bought $5,000 of Fidelity Blue Chip Growth mutual fund and have let it ride ever since. Never added a penny except the automatically reinvested dividends.
I like to watch it as a sort of experiment. It's had its ups and downs, but mainly ups.
About 25 years later the balance is over $35,700.
Had I bought a few of the "hot stocks" of that era, I doubt the outcome would have been as positive. Several of those companies have gone under.
So I recommend a Vanguard, Fidelity or other low cost mutual fund to diversify your stocks.
