Best online school for MBA?

Thought I would get better answers here.
Situation is: work will pay for my MBA. Love my job and company - don't necessarily need it for my current employment but if they are willing to pay. I would like to have it in my back pocket for future career and just want a challenge personally. I do travel about 75-100+ nights per year, so looking for 100% online.
I made decent grades at LSU (finished around 3.2 GPA). Graduated in 04. (shite I'm getting old)
Anyone had any good success stories or recommendations?
TIA

Everyone here likes LSUS online

If you want to do work. If you want to hit the highlights and work on a few projects, find an executive MBA program.
I'd like to amend the following: LSUS MBA seems like real value and is only 30 credits. I won't say it'll win any awards but seems like a great way to check a box for only like $12K

Upper Iowa University.
Great school. Regionally accredited and a not for profit school. They actually have small campuses all over the state if you ever need that.

If you aren’t chasing top schools like Harvard, Wharton, Stanford, etc then you just need a regionally accredited program to check the box. Lots out there but best bang for the buck and time is Western Governors University.

I was always curious about this one. I see ads for it everywhere.

to check the box.
Never understood this thinking.
$50-100k and 1-2years of time and effort to check a box?
F dat box (and mindset)!
Invest in yourself to make a difference in your career, company and life. Start there and skip the box bs.

Lots of posts on this topic and there was a long running LSUS post on this board for years.
If you want a check the box, then LSUS is an affordable option.
If you want a bit of prestige to the degree, UNC has a popular online MBA program. It will be much more expensive than LSUS but gets you a Top 30 business school degree.

It's $125,000 vs $12,000

It's like 30 credits

LSUS is where I plan to go in next few years. I'm just looking to check the box and probably 95% of everybody else.

Doesn’t cost that much. Some companies want an MBA regardless of where you got it. Many healthcare companies I have worked for liked them.

It's not a difficult program but won't turn heads.
I knocked it out in 6 months for $4k. I had no life for those 6 months though.
Got me multiple interviews and opportunities to get my foot in the door. At the end of the day, that's all it is for me personally.

I see both sides of it, on one hand if you are doing it just to have, kind of silly. On the other hand I have friends that work at big corporations that many promortions/management paths require an(y) MBA - so in that case I get the check the box comment.

Corporation perspective is they are entrusting their future value creation to a person who they are confident will deliver said value. If their trust is built on any and primarily an MBA, that is myopic and simple and worthy of questioning the people strategy and employee value proposition of that corporation.
The closest my Corp gets to that is our Talent org is literally this month working the long term leadership succession plan that includes 1 (of multiple) resourcing strategies to be MBA (elite - Harvard, INSEAD, London School of Economics, etc). A key reason this is up for review is the inconsistent results we have seen from MBAs. Cost (Corp education subsidies)/Benefit is in question, that ironically, is big part of what MBA programs teach

Whatever - the reality is it happens.

Prestigious MBA is just another signaling factor...
I am glad I 'checked the box' when I did. Hard for me to imagine doing the same program today as I completed a few years ago.

There are many companies that desire MBA's. The odd thing is they are primarily designed for people who were not Business undergraduates. For Business grads there is a lot of rehash of what you already learned, with a few new things maybe. I have an MBA, but I'm much prouder of my CPA.

Agreed. There is much more to be gained for non-business undergrads. My engineering classmates got the most out of an MBA...analytical skill set applied in a new way is marketable.

This. Depends on what you want to get out of it. If you want to learn competencies, I wouldn't recommend it. If you just want to have a check box on your resume and MBA behind your name then do it.
I took it directly out of undergrad and it basically a less challenging continuation of my Junior and Senior year with more busy work. They may have changed the format though, this was 8 years ago.
