Amex Plum card, I've had it for 8 years and am very happy. I get 2% cash back, Now I think its 1.5% on new accounts

Reiterating Spark. I've had them all and 2% unlimited cash back is huge. Airline rewards just aren't what they used to be, and redemption rates are terrible. You have to put in a lot of effort and game the system to utilize them to their potential, which I don't have time for. You're better off getting cash back and using that to travel if need be.
Ex: I had a last minute trip to LA two weeks ago and figured I'd be paying out the arse for a ticket (I historically saved airline miles for emergencies vs planned trips). It was 250k miles for a first class ticket from DFW to LAX. Instead, I had two options to choose from to get a first class ticket: AA for $430 or Virgin for $400. It was a no brainer to just buy the ticket.
