Calling your analogy bad is a life advice?

I disagree but if you need life advice here it goes...don't take life advice from a stranger on the internet.

I'm shocked that old money would be confused by crypto and think of it as a scam. /s

Yet you seem so keen on giving it.

There is a lot of vaporware in crypto sure. But to call it all a scam is a very uneducated point of view held by people who are unable to adapt to technology.

My God. The world was overdue for a globally recognized deflationary currency that incentivized savings. If people cannot understand that blockchain currencies advance that forward with asymmetric reward opportunity, then that is their loss

Lead paint was banned in the 70's.

If I was of the age to have eaten lead paint as a child I would carry the same views on blockchain as you have.

I know if I truly was in Lamboland and #gainz, the last place I would be, would be on a message board in my moms basement. Good luck to everyone who is “investing” in lol coin and wtf coin and every other coin out there. I truly hope you do not lose money and make some, I just have a bad feeling this whole thing will end badly for most.

Tell that to the people who cashed out some of their profits and bought a car or paid for a house. Not even talking about the lives changed by people retiring. Even if it is a bubble (I don't believe it it yet) or a fraud (which I don't think it is bc its about the tech), money is there to be made.

My cost basis is between 5-10%. I'd rather not say my current percentage after growth as I'm not as anonymous as I'd like to be on here...but its a lot more now

About .044%

The money I have in Crypto I put in the same class of discretionary funds as money I would use to buy lottery tickets, play a football board, or go to a casino.

Of course, I'd rather not lose it, but if I did, in the big scheme of things it would go unnoticed.

I've only been in for a little over a month, while my unrealized returns thus far have been very impressive by any "normal investment" criteria...They've been very tame compared to the rates you see most people quoting.

Regardless, if it all went away tomorrow, I'd probably argue I got my monies worth of entertainment out of it.

...And if it goes in the other direction...I get to say that at least I was a very small part of something big!
