Yep! The longer they wait the higher the buyout would have to be.

I sure do appreciate you bringing this to the board. I have a good amount at less than $5.00 a share. Was going to sell half but decided to hold. I dipped into SRNE at $3.34 this morning and will double up if it gets below $3. Thanks for your insight

Indeed!

Check out what happened after phase 2:

edit: The drop off after 10.54 was a direct effect of the public offering, which should not be needed this time.

No, but you should probably read my posts on AUPH back about 2-3 pages and make a decision on it.

A lot of people have already made good money, and I think there's a good thesis for 100-200% increase from here.

AUPH's twin?? similar market cap, same area of the body, similar public offering, but this one already has an fda approved drug and is 84% institutionally owned!

FREMONT, Calif., Dec. 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Ardelyx, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARDX), a specialized biopharmaceutical company focused on developing innovative first-in-class medicines to improve treatment for people with cardiorenal diseases, today announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 20,000,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $6.25 per share, before underwriting discounts and commissions, for gross proceeds of $125,000,000. In addition, Ardelyx has granted the underwriters of the offering the right for a period of 30 days to purchase up to an additional 3,000,000 shares of common stock at the public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions. The offering is expected to close on or about December 9, 2019, subject to customary closing conditions.

Ardelyx currently expects to use its existing cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments and the net proceeds from the offering to support its activities for the clinical development and potential commercialization of tenapanor for the treatment of hyperphosphatemia in patients with chronic kidney disease, or CKD, on dialysis, for regulatory activities to support the submission of a New Drug Application, in such indication, as well as for clinical trials and nonclinical studies for other product candidates, and for general corporate purposes and working capital.

A bit premature if you ask me. It’s a steal at $0.87

It’s got a pretty bad track record since you first mentioned it around $4.
Thankfully I only lost a few bucks!

The data never clicked with me.
I don’t know it so I don’t own it

I haven't touched a share. I'm long AUPH.
They'll either continue to develop and commercialize much needed drugs, or they will get bought out.

I’m with you. We could see a pullback if/when they decide to sell some stock and raise some more cash, but outside of that, it seems primed for a bright future.

if/when is a good way to put it...

If it does happen I’ll have to buy a few more shares.

Well apparently it's happening now.... AUPH raising more money. Can't wait to see if it gets hammered.
