Any thoughts re electric boats as an investment, specifically Vision Marine Technologies?

Electric boats sounds interesting, but I don't know whether or not Vision Marine Technologies, Inc. would be a worthwhile investment possibly whenever the current bear market ends.
I'm just curious as to any thoughts anyone might be willing to share.

My concern would be weight. Not only for the motor, but all the batteries necessary for that thing. Probably get away with it on a pontoon boat. Try to find a dealer and get their opinion on it.

That’s going to be a pretty small niche market when you are asking 35k for a displacement hull with a top speed of 6 mph. I can see applications for it as a harbor shuttle, but this will not have mass appeal in America.

My experience is that electronics and water (especially salt water) do not mix well.

My thoughts as well.
He'd have better luck with electric helicopters and gliders than electric boats.
(In before "they are called drones")

Based solely on those replies, I think it can easily and very reasonably be concluded that an investment in Vision Marine Technologies Inc.'s stock would be a very poor choice as an investment.

They have harbor shuttles likes this. Never seen it used anywhere else. Hard to believe this company will ever make money.
