Any one invest in Peer to Peer lending companies?

I did once to try it out. The loan defaulted. Never again.

I tried Lending Club for a little while. I think my return was 2-3% over 5 years or so. Waiting for all the loans to mature and cashed out. Sounds a lot more lucrative than it actually is.

I got 7-8% on lending club over 7 years but they no longer do p2p lending.

I did Prosper years ago. I had a positive return (approx. 3%) but I didn't think it was worth the effort or the risk so I quit messing with it.
