My brother is a cRNA, just got his yesterday. No sure the rhyme or reason to how payments are going out, but I'll be checking my account daily next week.

The doctors at my clinic are wanting us to just distribute the funds to them directly. Does anyone know if this is allowed? There seems to be a provision in the terms that limits using it for executive pay.

Here are the terms and conditions for accepting the payment

It actually says the opposite..
"SEC. 202. Executive Pay. None of the funds appropriated in this title shall be used to pay the
salary of an individual, through a grant or other extramural mechanism, at a rate in excess of
Executive Level II."

Yeah that's the section that was giving me pause. I think it's pretty clear, but it just seems weird that the doctors themselves can't receive the money.

I think they can but it just can't be outside the scope of whatever they are normally paid.

Wonder what's going to happen when the employers/hospitals get some of this money and still try to cut physician pay for this year.
