AMD price had a nice bump last week

I bought it awhile back at $56.00 a share and it finally took off, could possibly go to $107.00 in the fall.

AMD was for a long time the processor also-ran that would nip at Intel's heels every now and then. Right now they are eating Intel's lunch.
Years ago, they were the first to come out with a dual core and it was extremely price competitive. I built my new machine three months ago with an AMD 12 core processor @ 4ghz. It is a lot of bang for the buck. Total cost of the machine was $2300 and it is loaded for bear.
For a couple of grand more, it could be running a 32 processor AMD so they are taking the power user market by storm. I love a good fast machine!
My first big computer was analog.
