They dropped tariffs to zero. And didmt have the balls to even announce it. They had already dropped tariffs on aviation. Still havent announced that one. And they are actively looking for other areas that they can drop tariffs on, without announcing it. So they can save face

Yeah, I mean, that is so much worse than assigning a name to the day you announce worldwide tariffs only to pause them for 90 days a few days later when the bond market puked on itself.
Some are so weirdly obsessed with who “bends the knee” that you fail see that we have, in fact, bent the knee on several occasions since Trump went tariff stupid. But it’s called “art of the deal”.
The reality is that NO ONE wins a trade war. There are only degrees of pain. So who gives a frock if Trump, Xi, or the leader of Sri Lanka bends the knee first. Just get it over with so we can all get back to a normal economy.

Why do some of you have to spin every single thing with tariffs as a who blinked first political bonanza? We announced across the board tariffs then rolled them back to 10% with everyone but China. Then we rolled them back on individual items too.
It doesn’t matter if we did it first or if they did it first, at least not on the Money Talk. If you want to fling shite for political purposes bring it to the appropriate board. Your OP was shite and your explanation of it since then has been even worse.
