The problem was changing my stop loss I should have just hedged on selling half at that stop loss and half at another point.........that way I'd have had some way to balance out if it did hit.

I'm learning alot over these last 6 months as I've made more money than I ever have but I've pulled out of two big stocks I had losing potential profit of 20k.....makes me feel like bad beats do.

Same here man. Took a beating on a couple. Made late decisions on some others.

Missed out on big bucks in PLUG bc I didn't sell recently.

Screw the bastards that put out bad reports over the last few days. Freaking criminal if you ask me. But I have been following this stock over the last year and know how there are numerous government funded studies using their technology. They followed up on everything the FDA requested after the last denial so I was confident they were getting approval.
fwiw, I have about 1700 shares at various prices

I am a very novice investor but have been holding this stock for about a year. Sounds like it will go up a bunch tomorrow based on y'all's posts. What's the best strategy at this point? TIA

I was going to buy the dip at $4 yesterday but I read some blog that said there was a very good chance the review board today wouldn't vote yes based on the published report. I feel really bas for those that got scared and unloaded their shares yesterday.

I woudlnt buy any higher than 7 or 8 until FDA approves.

But Afreeza has blockbuster potential. Inhalable insulin is a freaking game changer.

I am thinking about making an option straddle for MNKD.

The FDA is going to approve it or not approve it, either way, the stock is going to skyrocket or plummet back down.

If stock price right now is 8$ and I think for sure it will have a 3$ swing at least, I can just buy a put with a strike of 5$ and buy a call with strike 11$ and I should be good right?

It is going to drop to about $6 before the final approval imo.

$10-12 initially. Then it depends if they partner up or get bought out.

i think around $7 is a "good" buy. anything 6.50 and below is a "great" buy. however the great may not come and you might miss the good as well.

no matter what this will go up with the FDA approval. just figure out where you want to start gambling from.

my average is around $6 and i'm not adding any more until FDA would approve.
after that it will hopefully settle around 13. hopefully a buyout or partner will be no less than 20.

I added some more just north of $7 earlier today.

We'll see where it goes

Aaaaand FDA not folding that easy. Extended review for 3 more months to do more in depth research.

FDA really doesn't want to do this one. Will see 20% or so sell off today IMO.

yeap, this is really an episode of house of cards corruption style. FDA bigwigs probably thought the panel would vote no or much closer. What is the real tell and had me confused was the lack of bounce post panel vote. I though it would jump much higher. Now they got 3 months to F things up for MNKD but i still don't see how it doesn't' get passed. Why the hate for MNKD by the FDA. For starters, the FDA head husband runs a big bio tech fund, lots of shorts in MNKD. Than throw in big pharm who throw around lots of donations doesn't want to lose money to the upstart therapy. If you can't beat join them, MNKD probably sells out, so i like the buy.
