I've never said they didn't move product. Again, the whole point of this ongoing nonsense is the inability for someone to separate a good business from a good investment.

How does this apply to Apple in any way?

You are letting your pride get in the way of your logic.

There were a few times, 2008 comes to mind, when you could have gotten popped on Apple if you got out, but I assure you, no one that rode out the few speed bumps considers the money they put into Apple a bad investment.

I told you the iPad was going to be a monster. You didn't believe me. I can paste the things you said if you like. The iPad sales have obliterated even the most Apple biased projections. You will be here tomorrow or next week talking shite about the next iPad killer or iPhone killer. You'll be wrong again.

Sorry, but you've been the most dickish to me here, and ironically, everything we've disagreed about you ended up being wrong yet you are still smug as hell when I come up.

I thought the general story was that apple always under projected their sales?

I was speaking of 3rd parties. Apple has the reputation of low balling guidance, but I don't think they officially project moved units in a public forum.

Please go to hell. Seriously, you've tried calling me out god knows how many times, and I've crushed you on it every single time (its pretty easy to do). I'm not the dick, you are the dick. Every one who reads these threads knows that; everyone who reads these threads knows you have no idea what you are talking about. You are clearly legitimately delusional and truly wish you would stop posting, because you are honestly making people dumber every day.

I'm sorry, I don't know why I let myself get caught up in this nonsense again. Scoop, I am never responding to one of your posts for the entirety of the time I post on TD.com. You will always be an idiot, and you do not know a fricking thing about Apple. Good riddance.

Sorry.

You've just gone out of your way to be a dick towards me and your arrogance in doing so is not justified based on our points of contention.

I know this isn't the OT or Poli board but I have the goods if you want to keep shitting on me.

Anyone can look it up.

This thread is a hoot!

Let's see...world's economy is in decline...what should I do...buy a another toy or buy oil? hmmm

Stand back and take a look. This is what 'thinking' has devolved to. Making toys in China, marking them up a few hundred per cent, selling them to fools where ever. Hell, basketball shoes made more sense!

You have a point. Apple is in the fashion industry. Fashion styles come and go. Oil does not. I'm much more confident in the strength of commodities for the long haul than I am in material electronic devices that Apple/Rimm, etc produce.

Really?

Apple has really suffered during the recession, you are correct unless we want to involve reality.

Fashion product?

That's simply retarded and you must know that.

No, he isn't retarded, you are still living in consumer la la land. People go mad in herds, they come to their senses one at a time. Obviously you are slow to come to your senses...maybe a couple of more years and you will get it.

Not directed at you but we are entering the golden age of Apple.

The tipping point is here.

Asia, Verizon, the iPad and other things are coalescing at this moment in time in such a manner that the forseeable future in tech belongs to Apple.

A paradigm shift may come, but not soon.

So, you have finally changed your mind and you now think Apple is a good company?
