I am too conservative to actually invest in these stocks but do have a small position in MJ, less than 1% of my portfolio.

NVDA giving a knockout blow this morning. Down, down, down.

CAT taking down more players but not as severely.

Updated through close of trading on Friday, February 1.

The number to the right of your YTD % was your ranking last Friday, January 25. The percentage number to the right of your previous ranking number was what your YTD % was last week.

Biggest UP move in the rankings this week was by jsk020 who moved up +16 places from #37 to #21, improving his YTD % from 8.42% to 14.37%, or +5.95%.

The best improvement in YTD percent this week was by lynxcat who saw his YTD percent improve from 17.58% to 25.53%, an improvement of +7.95%.

Because lynxcat was already high in the rankings his best YTD % improvement of the week saw him improve only 4 places in the rankings, moving up from #10 to #6.

Seeing the biggest drop in his ranking this week was TT1234 who fell -19 places from #13 to #32 and dropping from 15.21% YTD to 11.25%, or -3.96% which was the biggest decline in YTD percent since last Friday.

Ten players saw their YTD % decline this week meaning 46 players had their YTD % improve since last Friday. All 56 players continue to have a positive YTD performance percent after the first month of competition.

For reference, the Dow Jones 30 Industrials Index is UP +7.17% since 12/31/18, the S&P 500 Index is UP +7.87% YTD and the NASDAQ Composite is UP +9.74% YTD.

What a month. 12% gain only good for right at medium performance... my investment account loves it!

Still shocks me but as I previously noted this outcome does a great job of describing how deeply oversold stocks were going into the end of Dec 2018. Breadth is very strong.

Also worth noting; a positive January is historically indicative of a positive year in the markets. “As goes January, so goes the year.” The January barometer didn’t work in 2018, but we shall see!

Lastly, Huss blows harder than the Polar Vortex.

20% in a month does not make the top 10, damn.

also there should be some account to knowing more about short term than where we will be in a year. last year Walmart was great till they announced the India deal.

a lot of these stocks will either come back to reality or even more will have a run.

Yeah, I haven’t dove into the numbers, but I’d imagine they revised outlook downward. They’ve been trying to reposition themselves, and the outlook hasn’t been great.

Updated through close of trading on Friday, February 8.

The number to the right of your YTD % was your ranking last Friday, February 1. The percentage number to the right of your previous ranking number was what your YTD performance percent was last week.

For the first time this year there were more % declines in YTD performance than percent advances over the past week. We had 35 players who saw their performance percent decline this week and only 21 players who had an improvement in their YTD percent from the previous week.

All players continue to have a positive performance YTD.

Biggest move UP in the rankings this week was by TimeOutdoors who improved +15 places from #42 to #37.

Best percentage improvement was by HYDRebs who had a YTD % of 17.21% this week compared to 12.56% the previous week, or +4.65%. He also moved up in the rankings +14 places from #29 to #15.

Biggest DOWN move in the rankings was by bossflossjr who fell from #19 to #36, or -17 places.

While he remained in first place in the rankings, the biggest % decline in YTD performance was by theOG who saw his performance decline by -6.53% from 38.22% the previous week to 31.69% this week.

The best performing stock so far this year is CRON (Cronos Group Inc., a legal marijuana-growning stock) which has an almost unbelievable YTD performance percent of +88.16%. It started the year at $10.39/share and closed at $19.55/share yesterday. Only one player has CRON in his portfolio, lynxcat.

The next best performing stocks YTD are CGC (+69.22%), ROKU (+57.54%) and ACB (+53.02%). CGC and ACB, like CRON, are also legal marijuana-growing stocks. Obviously, marijuana stocks are SMOKIN'!!

The worst performing stock YTD is TUP (Tupperware Brands Corporation) which as seen its share price decline -14.86% since the end of 2018. Only one player has TUP in his portfolio, TT1234.

Also lagging this year are SNE (-8.26%), ATVI (-6.79%) and TTWO (-5.63%).

Watching China, interest rates, and shutdown. If China blinks we should see a rocket launch. Will it be a extended run or a last hurrah?

Dis is going to end up being a bad pick for me I think. They won’t be seeing any kind of gains based on their streaming platform this year, just costs and some panic shaking out the weak hands due to higher costs.

May not deliver strong punch for 2019, but I’d think it’s a good play to hold in your portfolio beyond 2019.

SMG, Scotts Miracle Grow (my largest customer) and LUV, Southwest Airlines ( how I get to my customers locale) , push me into the top 20.
