That is insane. Hopefully it works out for you.
It's strange that they started with Audit. Most review courses suggest starting with FAR. It's also completely bogus that they put FAR & REG back-to-back. You will be extremely tired of tidying after that stretch.
Is your grade tied to how well you do on the CPA exams, or is there another grading mechanism for the class?
I think their reasoning was audit is easier, so it gives us a test to get used to the study schedule, and the exam format, as well as a confidence boost if you pass audit. For sure though, it's going to be a rough two months.
The grade is partially tied to how well you do on the CPA exams, the rest is based on completion of lectures, homework, and practice exams from the review.

I know all about GET in Hawaii! I pay too damn much.

Recent LSU grad & I didn't know anyone not taking multiple sections per window.
You do now!

I don't really see the point in taking multiple sections at once unless you're focused only on the CPA exam and are treating it like a full time job. I've got a wife, 2 kids, and a full time job on top so I can't spend the kind of time necessary to take multiple sections each window.
They give you 18 months to pass them all after you pass your first one. Even taking them one per window, that's plenty of time.

I passed them all pretty fast but I was pretty much only studying for the CPA.
I have a lot of respect for people with full time jobs, families, etc having the discipline to study too. Would have been very tough for me.
Good luck everybody

Flat tax won't happen unless something catastrophic happens in the American economy.

How was it?
It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
Which concerns me. The CPA exam should never be all that "easy". The more questions you get right the harder the questions get, so you should always feel challenged unless you are scoring a 96,97,98,99.
I won't be scoring in that range. So it is worrisome that I didn't think the questions were all that difficult.
There was 1 simulation that I had no idea what was going on but I am pretty sure that was the "test" simulation that doesn't count. It was really out of left field.
Anyways, I am likely way over thinking this. I try my best to block the test out after I take it until I get the score. If not, I will just drive myself crazy while I wait for the result.
I find out 9/10. Luckily this has been a holiday weekend with college football so that has helped me not think about it.

I'm doing Becker review through my masters program, they put the timing requirements on us. We do audit at the end of Aug, FAR beginning of Oct, REG beginning of Nov, and BEC at the end of Nov lol. It's definitely a cram session.
Power to you if you can complete that schedule. I will be envious.

I'm going: AUD--BEC--REG--FAR
But I was most worried about not getting all 4 done in 18 month window. It takes me longer to master the material to a level where I feel that I can pass the test. I only test if I can feel that I can pass. That and I work in public accounting, so a good chunk of the year it is difficult to study with work requirement. If I lose credit for any of them, I would want for it to be AUD, which is why I took it first.
I scored an 87 on that exam and it was by far the easiest concepts to grasp...then again, I work in Audit for a public accounting firm so I feel like my experience really helps out with that.

I know how you feel. If it makes you feel better I passed parts after thinking it was really hard as well as after thinking it was really easy. The only thing you can really hold onto is knowing you prepared the best you can.

I thought I failed walking out of FAR and REG. FAR was my last test (don't recommend that one bit) and I didn't finish the governmental lectures on Becker because I passed the other tests comfortably and was bored to tears by that stuff. Felt like half my test/sims were governmental
For REG, I felt good about the MC but legitimately had no clue on the tax rules for half the sims. I did end up passing both. Been a couple years, but hopefully that makes y'all feel better if you walk out of an exam feeling like you bombed the sims.

Oh ok. I'm starting to some research on the big 4 and other types of industries. I'm happy where I'm at currently, but a CPA opens up a lot of different avenues.

I'm taking them in the same order. I'd rather know exactly how much time I have to pass FAR.
I moved my AUD exam back to October 31. It's a little much trying to study and deal with approaching deadlines (I work in public accounting).

Score release just happened! How did everyone do?
I got an 82 on BEC so now I only have FAR remaining and three testing windows before any of my exams expire. I hope everyone else has good news as well!

Stuck waiting, my scores come in through the state board instead of NASBA so it'll be a couple more hours. The suspense is murderous.
ETA:
Audit: 99. LETS GO!! One down.
