I certainly don’t know how it can be done but would love to know if this is a concern for all of crypto currency or just an issue particular to Monacoin?

from what I’ve read, this dude performed a DDoS attack on an exchange and stole funds users held on that exchange. I know nothing about the Monacoin chain or what exchanges it’s traded on, but from the news out there it seemed the attack was aimed at the exchange and not at the whatever consensus mechanisms the chain uses.

Not all of crypto. This is like the equivalent of just because I can hack tigerdropppings. Now I can hack Apple and Google and take everything from them.

There have been billions of dollars in crypto that have been stolen / scammed from people this year alone. The $100k is pennies
