I think this could be more true than any of us know.

Or maybe PM considered them friends but MJ just considered PM an associate. Who really knows but it still wasn't a dick move.

Shite I don't disagree with that buying the damn Beetles stuff was probably the smartest thing anybody ever told Jacko to do.....aside from the moonwalk maybe

Oh, okay because you say so.

You have yet to give one good reason that it was a dick move. You just keep saying, it was a dick move.

I see them prefectly clear.

If my friend loses his car or something cause he was careless with it and he hasn't owned it for years but it comes up at auction for way under value and he has the money to buy it but refuses to and I buy it then he can't get mad at me IMO.

ETA that is one long run on sentence.

Unethical and this don't relate though. She is right. It was open for PUBLIC bid. How that is unethical is beyond me.

if he has given up on it and then you step in, sure. but if you are actively bidding up the price while he is trying to secure it, that is a dick move.

This is the only thing in the slightest that concerns me about this damn public memorial. If LA pays for the added cops/security and doesn't get anything for this from the so called "Jackson Estate" then its no wonder California is in the shape they are in and they probably deserve most of it.

What if there was no MJ funeral and the NAACP decided to have a rally or something? Wouldn't the state have to have extra police on for something like that? The state is run like shite, I agree, but this isn't why.

If you want cookies, then go ahead and make your way to the kitchen. Aside from that, don't tell me what conversations I may or may not participate in.

If PM wanted a say so in who owned the rights, he shouldn't have sold them off in the first place.

he didn't sell them off

the Beatles signed a recording contract with a record label when they were starting out just like any band trying to make it. This contract and the songs rights that resulted from it are what was sold to MJ.

Thank you! If PM didn't want to risk losing the rights then they never should've made the company public!

He shouldn't have lost it in the first place.

Thing is, we don't know all the details about it and all we have ever heard is PM's side of the story. MJ never addressed it publicly like PM did so it is really hard to call it a dick move when you just have one side of the story.

I realize you think you are too smart for us, but try real hard to put together a thought process and explain why in your little world this was a dick move.

Then I will respond.
