Defense was phenomenal and the offense actually executed well, shot well, and kept the turnovers to a manageable number. Even beat the press several times. They looked very good tonight.

Tilmon is easily the most frustrating cat I've ever seen play at Mizzou....if he could stay out of foul trouble there wouldn't be 3 other players in the country more dominate.

Yeah. Braun was getting kilt on the boards.
But overall, great performance by the team. Lots of competent ball handlers. The position-less experiment is coming along.

Really pleased with that game. Only watched it loosely during Chiefs commercial breaks, but I like what I see from this team. Defense has been outstanding so far.

Defense has been elite. Top 10 in KenPom and it’s real. Not just playing teams that didn’t shoot well. Every guard in the rotation is an excellent defender.
We have to shoot well (I think we will, several good shooters), keep turnovers low (we’ll see), keep Tilmon in the floor (we’ll see)
Do those things and this is a pretty damn good team. Hopefully the Xavier game was just a blip

I missed the game because of shitty Charter internet connection. The team look that good or was it simply the difference of playing Wofford instead of a top 20 team? Or both I guess.

Probably both, but Wofford is not a bad team. They won a tournament game last year, and damn near beat Kentucky in Rd 2. They’ve got several guys who can shoot lights out and our guards clamped them for the most part.
Biggest thing for me was they only had 10 turnovers and only 3 (that I can remember) were sloppy bad ones. More assists than TO. Team has to play this way because they play such a grind it out style. Can’t give away possessions

Wofford lost Magee and another senior off that team. They are close to as good this season. Based on KenPom rankings they are the 4th best team in their conference.
But most of the rest of the SEC has lost to a similar team this season. Top 5-6 finish is up for grabs with how the season has gone.

I think that is still underselling this team. This team is good enough to be top 2-3.
