he didn't say.

he did comment on it being significantly lower than the money offered to him on draft day by other teams.

He'll be in P & G. I'm not too worried about him more-so than some other guys like Bruening (sp?)

if he continues the tear that he's on in the Cape, the Yankees won't be afraid to break out the check book for him.

I hope so, but being a Yankees draftee and him completely owning the Cape Cod league it doesn't look good.

I always wondered why small market teams waste relatively high picks on high school guys who might very well go to college. The Pirates/Royals/Twins, etc...should focus on college guys after the 1st couple of rounds imho.

I'd be shocked if the Yankees don't pay Brett...unless he just falls apart from here on out. We already know he'll gladly go pro if the money is there:

Last year the Yankees failed to sign their 1st and 2nd round picks. They prefer to spend their money on high price free agents.

since my brother is friends with ZVR on facebook, i decided to see if he was saying anything on there, so while checking it out( i know a lot of younger players update that sometimes or talk to people through that about decisions such a Dean did), i came across ZVR saying that people will be seeing a lot more of him on campus...
