If that was the case, then how come Mainieri hasn't just let Grewe go? He oversees everything. His job is on the line with his hires. He knows just a tad about pitching himself. If he saw something wrong, I would like to think he'd correct it.

Why is it that people think that innings are the only thing that cause TJ.There are many other factors that can cause arm trouble.Lets not forget didier and zeigler also.I think 7 players with elbow trouble 6 of them with TJ is a reason for concern

lets not, didier got here before the 2009 season, same as Grewe, and he's not a pitcher.....so i'm not sure how that figures in.....zeigler? yeah, he had all of 3 appearances as a freshmen before his injury, he had been here all of a few months

It isn't due to overthrowing but there is someone to blame. That my friend is a fact.
And so who is to blame on other NCAA/MLB staffs when a pitcher needs Tommy John?
And if TJ has become so widespread, why hasn't there been an increase in knowledge so that coaches on every level can prevent it?
Mainieri has 30 years experience, and yet there is a tangible reason/person out there that is responsible and he is unable to take corrective measures?

Moorman was drafted I believe twice from jc and now he just not good enough !
