Dale could give you a history lesson that would make you want to run through a wall for him. And then other times, he said stupid shite that pissed people off.

I was 14 and watching that game on tv live. Had me amped up as shite. I wanted to run out there and scrap too I was so pissed.

I remember it very well. The SEC and the NCAA has always been a joke. LSU was never, and will never be considered a "favorite" by the powers that be in CBB.
It was insane what teams could get away with. The SEC made Will Wade's last season look like child's play compared to what they did to Dale's teams.
As for the fans that shite on Dale Brown, you can kindly go frick yourselves. Daddy Dale put LSU bball consistently in the NCAAT during his tenure. Dale knew what he had to do to compete with the big boys in CBB. LSU was made a scapegoat in the late 90's just as they were made a scapegoat again twenty years later. Frick the SEC, NCAA, and any LSU "fan" that craps on Brown. He called it exactly how it was and he was hated for it.
