Jeremy Hill has some thick wheels.

ER1's arms look a lot bigger too.

And to me it looked like Mingo and Maclin and Sam looked faster than Ronnie Feist in the one drill where they bat down the medicine ball, do those high steps, and then finish with wrapping up the dumpy.
(Not saying Feist is slow, just saying that the DEs look really fast.)

It's nice seeing Magee and Copeland working together.

I think Feist could start at WLB this year.

Guys that have been in the program for 3 years are gonna go through drills faster than a kid who should still be in high school.

Mett is clearly the best out of the 3. Some of those throws are pretty eye opening. Impressive.

One of those throws was incredible. Really excited to see what he can do in live action vs a decent defense.

Yes, me too. People refer to the high expectations from him but I think expectations are actually pretty low considering who he is replacing.

Can we all agree that if you say John Chavis throws like a girl, that it is an insult to girls. There is a reason he is on the defensive side.

I know it is just practice, but I was impressed with all 3 quarterbacks. Rivers looks much better than anytime last year. Randall has quick release and seems to have good throwing motion. Mett looks very much in control and seems to be willing to help the younger quarterbacks.

Mett's ball seems to go nose down on the short to intermediate throws. Noticed that at Butler as well and it is a good thing that prevents passes floating over receivers and get tipped and picked off. Certainly a pro style build and arm. Rivers is coming on too and that is great to push Mett. Can't wait until March 31.

Hah - looks like the Defense was practicing a little dance in that intercept and run back for a touchdown drill. Hope they get to use that a couple of times this year.

this team will be more experienced, physically and mentally better, and they have played in big games.

This team is an overall better team than last year may not be as good on d, slightly worse, but the offense will be much improved

I don't think I've ever seen someone put so much effort to only throw the ball about 5 yards

He contorted his whole body to make that throw

I don't think I've ever seen anyone look so comfortable and fluid throwing a ball like I see in Mett... Rivers also looks very fluid... Much better mechanics than his brother

He looks great but then again this is without any defensive pressure. We'll see how it translates on gameday. The signs are very encouraging though. Last year's clips had JJ throwing his usual fast balls at receivers' knees and Lee throwing tentatively off his backfoot so compared to that, it appears we have upgraded already.
