You don't have a problem with these huge, super-athletic football players going around fighting regular dudes in college bars?

I have no issue with fighting to protect
protecting is kicking people on the ground that are considerably smaller than you?
c'mon man...

BUT there are also eyewitnesses that say JJ was the peacemaker, that he wasn't the one that kicked the dude in the head. So my thing is, who do you believe?

for what exactly? in this country, we don't convict without due process

I agree.
The guy on the ground getting kicked did not look unconscious though. Was that part of the story?
Stomping is a barbaric act and shouldnt be a part of LSU period.

lol yeah, like he's gonna give him a hand up.
nobody ever just sits there after you knock someone down, unless he's frickin out. which this dude wasn't. you can be on the ground and not defenseless.

i think the cause of the fight makes a huge difference
That is fair, but can you think of any "cause" that would require kicking someone on the ground?
Look, I am not comparing this to attempted murder or some other bullshite, but that type of decision should get you left at home for the season opener, at least!

so this guy wants to suspend JJ when he very well may have been breaking up the fight? come on, man

One thing I did realize is: If the guy was kicked behind the head then the broken Vertebrae couldnt be Lumbar, they would have to be the upper ones I would think. JMO
all was said was vertebrae fractures.
didn't specify C T, L, S...

Some of these tards weren't having it.

Lumbar would be the result of being stomped on the lower back
which would surely leave a bruise, and possible tread pattern. Therefore, resulting in bags of sneakers being removed from the perps residence?

That is fair, but can you think of any "cause" that would require kicking someone on the ground?

i think the people who hear 'jefferson' are the minority. most seem to here '5-0' and some 'jarvo...jarvis'
fwiw, i'd rather jefferson gone than jarvis landry.

dude, this isn't fricking CSI. where do you get this shite? even if the 'tread' (days later) matched jeffersons shoes -- it means absolutely zero. how many people at the bar that night wear the same size X shoe?

I have watched this a dozen times now, and I still can't pick out anything visually (even on the high res video), but I can definitely make out the, "Jeff, Jeff, 5-0, 5-0, Jeff"
Posted on 8/24/11 at 9:07 pm to TheDoc
Do we even know for sure the guy that was kicked is the one with the fractures?

Dude there were 15-20 LSU players at the scene. Let's say that the "victims" were the aggressors - how fricking stupid would they have to be to pick that fight?
The dude was on the ground and was clearly making no attempt to get up. I am not saying JJ or any other football player kicked him, but the video shows that it happened and it was unnecessary.
