November 14, 1981 - LSU vs. Mississippi. My Dad got tickets from our neighbors. Even with the loss I was hooked. My Dad purchased season tickets the next year from someone he worked with.

LSU v. Miami of Ohio, 1986. A family friend took me to the game, and it was miserable.

lots of young puppies in here

for us middle aged folks, my first game was 1974 (6 yrs old). My grandfather shared prime season tickets with Charles Cusimano Sr.

I remember the Noel "Butch" Baum advertising sign on the scoreboards like it was yesterday

great memories of (16) Robiske & (4) Alexander toting the rock in the mid 70's . (37) Willie Teal was my favorite DB as I wore that number during middle school FB.

worst environmental conditions: 1977 beating Rice 77-0 , I was 9 yrs old and it was brutally cold, felt like it was in the teens. Had 4 or 5 Schweggmann brown paper bags around my feet trying to stay warm. Due to the blow out and freezing temps, Grandpa kept asking if I was ready to go home (Metairie at the time), as I replied "No, I want to stay the whole game". Carlos Carson went off with 5 rec for 200 yds and 5 TD's

1988 vs. Miami (FL) ... I believe LSU was ranked 10th and MIA was 2nd or 3rd. So much anticipation during game week as the Hurricanes were legitimate NC contenders, and LSU wanted to knock off the big dogs. Well, the Canes literally brought a monsoon into Tiger Stadium as it poured cats and dogs the entire game. Final score wasn't pretty as LSU took one on the chin 44-3 . Very long, cold, wet ride back to Lafayette

Florida State - 1983. It was an afternoon game and we lost.
First night game was a couple weeks later against Washington. That was awesome.

Moo St. Sep 1994. Steady rain and Eddie Kennison's 100 yd punt return for a TD. Got to go on the grass of TS the next morning. I snuck in through an open tunnel. Groundskeeper asked me what I was doing in the stadium. Told him I snuck in to get a glimpse and some pics. That I drove all the way from Ga for my first game. He told me to take all the time I needed. Ahh, my first trip to the holy land.

Not sure what my first game was, but the first I have vivid memories of was Auburn in 1995.

Season opener against Oregon State in 1982. I was 4 sitting in south upper sec 16.

about 5 years ago when my mom retired from teaching, she was cleaning out a filing cabinet in her room and found the program from the game on which my grandfather wrote "First Game" in black marks-a-lot. Can't believe it just randomly turned up like that.

My grandfather bought his seats along w/ his neighbor when they finished the south end zone, and we're still sitting there after all these years. They're not particularly great seats or anything, just nice to keep the block of families together.

Nov 20, 1982....Risher and Company maul the Seminoles 55-21 in an fog enveloped Tiger Stadium to win an Orange Bowl birth. Watching the Oranges pepper the field at the end of the game was something I will never forgot. Sat in the farthest upper right corner seat of the upper deck.
