1993 cold as hell two poor teams and nothing but just plain hate and pride from both sides. first time I saw some of the hate between fans. we won 19-17. Go To Hell Ole Miss, Go To Hell

I remember 93...I was there and it was damn frigid, and there were MAYBE 40,000 in the stands at kickoff. Ole Miss missed about a 38 yard field goal late to seal the win.

There was one that was around 93 that was FREEZING, like 20 degrees or something and it was a night game...we had 2 Ole Miss fans and their kid sitting behind us in the student section, we won at the end of the game, and the kid threw down his rebel flag...I picked it up and tore it up infront of his daddy, he got pissed, and said that flag has been in our family for YEARS!!! I told him he shouldn't have thrown it down on the ground and walk away...he pointed at me and all my friends began Tiger baiting him...they decided to leave...it was hilarious.

scrolled up and 93 is in the post many times, classic example of a nothing game meaning something 15 years later!

1982. 31-0 at halftime and 45-0 at the end of the third. Ole Miss fumbled the opening kickoff after talking garbage all week, jumping up and down on the logo after the coin toss.Hillard scored on the first play from scrimmage.
Ole Miss finished the game with minus 50 yards rushing.
Remember it well. My last year at LSU and in Tiger Band after what seemed like Eons.
HC Jerry Stovall. OC Mack Brown. Risher. Dalton/James Gang. Great defense with the classic LSU mix of speedy athletes and smart football players that make plays.(The later is totally absent in 2008 thanks to "Unbalanced" recruiting by LM/Recruiting Coordinator Josh Henson)...........

I remember that game. We all thought that was going to be Curley's death knell, but LSU actually played an amazing game. 1995 was another good one. LSU clenched their first winning season since '88 with a win over Ole Miss. I remember how euphoric I was about the lowly Indy Bowl. My, how far have we come!

My favorite game was an away game vs Ole Miss in Jackson Ms. It was a highly anticipated game for the Sec and was moved to Jackson because of the hype. On the way to Jackson after crossing into Missisippi, a State Trooper was crusing very slow in the passing lane causing the Louisiana folks to slow done and made it difficult to pass. I should have known it was a bad omen of things to come. A good cold night for football with Lsu pulling away late in the 2nd quarter for a big win. Walking to the stadium was difficult because of the fights and it only got worse in the stadium. We tried to go to a club afterwards and more of the same, nothing but fights. Sore losers that bunch from Ole Miss. Go to Hell Ole Miss.

For me it has to be 2003. Eli has fallen and he can't get up!

Why does a Doctor of Medicine have to counterfeit money? Why did'nt he just sell prescription drugs on the sly. WTF. He deserves everything he got and it was'nt enough. Tarnished everything he helped build up by winning the Heisman IMO.

Without a doubt the 72 " turn the clock back" game. I was in the SE end zone and was right on top of play ..Jones to Davis for the win !That certainly had to challenge the earthquake game for an eruption ! And then I was hugged and kissed by some random chick next to me ! 2 plays in 4 seconds ....right.
After that the 70 " Archie Who? " game with the Oranges raining on the field ...61-17 Awesome !

You and I are the same age! That was my first game in Tiger Stadium. It was a HUGE deal back then when a game was on TV. I remember running outside to get a glimpse of the Goodyear blimp as it flew over my house. It was a major event for an LSU game to be on TV back then.

yep thought so, the only game I did not go to that season.
9 years old I remember snuggling up on the couch with the hot baby-siter watching the game.
I don't know what was more beautiful that night.
Tiger stadium under the lights on TV for the first time.

The baby sitters big breast
Everything was right in the world
