Thanks for the link. I used to have Leonard Marshall's helmet from that season. Unfortunately, I left it unattended for two minutes one night at a certain fraternity house. Brothers or not, if that house was burnin' to the ground on the row, I wouldn't PISS on it.

But back to the video - I loved seeing Risher play again. His O-line was un-friggin'-REAL! They could give him half the game to stand there in the pocket and decide where he wanted to throw the ball. He played pretty well for the Arizona Wranglers' USFL team too.

LOL at Risher throwing off his back foot. For a touchdown!

And I always liked Magic Juan Betanzos.

I remember some in the student section, after every Juan field goal, they would sing...
"Juan...singular sensation, every little kick he makes."

That's perfect!

On a related note, I ran into him in Mexico City in the late 80's. God knows how many million people in that city and I saw him. Gave him a Geaux Tigers! and we had a nice chat.

If I remember that bama team went into the 4th quarter without holding up those 4 fingers. How could they even hold their head when LSU held them to -45 yards rushing and they ended the game with a +45 yards rushing. That defensive line had a player hitting Rutledge with or without the ball.

Pimp, from what I can remember about that game, Joiner and Richardson had a big game by persuing the Alabama QB from the backside as he ran parralel to the LOS. They had a bunch of tackles, tackling the QB from behind.
