I’m simply saying that if you focus only on the 15-0 run and nothing that happened in the following two years, you aren’t being honest, fair or realistic.

my response was to a post about him embarrassing LSU...and that the rest of cfb doesn't care like some posters think they do if they were really embarrassed by the last 2 years. I went through the hallman days

He won us a natty with arguably the best team ever. Doesn’t really matter how he did it. He did it and he was head coach. I am forever indebted to him for that.

It's amazing that people think that LSU with BK won't be super successful
What’s your timeline for success and how do you define it? Talks cheap…

Y’all still harping on Pellini who Woodward forced onto O. I was horrible and needed to go but the pellini narrative is false

This is fact. Pelini is on Woodward.

That's a statement that a loser would make. The man gave us the BEST season in college football history. He loves LSU. He just let his pecker think for him. Was it time for him to go? Absolutely. But to call him a deadbeat loser? You need to take a hard look in the mirror my friend. Is he going through a mid life crisis ..yes. Did he mail it in after the championship season ...yes. Did he make terrible coaching hires and decisions...yes.But give the man his do.

This is the weird part about all of this I don't get. No doubt that the team underperformed in 2020 and 2021. But, 2020 was more because of the people who were drafted, and THEN all the key guys who opted out right before the season started. The 2021 season was mediocre at 6-6, under Orgeron but far from horrible. Did coach Orgeron need to go at that point...............? Yep. But people are acting like the man led us through the most bleek period in LSU football history. Remember the team's records got better every year under Orgeron until 2020.............

2016 - 6-2
2017 - 9-4
2018 - 10-3
2019 - 15-0

I'm grateful to coach Orgeron for getting us out from under the mediocrity Les Miles had us in those four seasons prior to him taking over. Too bad it didn't work out but, I think Kelly is the kind of coach to build a sustaining winning team. Hopefully I'm not wrong, but I'll forever be grateful for Orgeron taking over for Les and bringing us that magical 2019 season.

Oh, now you stepped in it.....you said Orgeron actually did something good after January 2020.

No, I get what you are saying. This board does not accept that on any level because we are the elite of the elite....... if only everyone would buy in and if only we had serious coaches that are dedicated to winning.....etc.

The Kelly love ends with the second loss

There was a major effort issue in that game also.
