Chicot. You are a fricking idiot. You're the same kind of worthless a-hole who tells the Jarrett Lee haters that they should stop hating him becasue they couldn't do any better. I don't need to be a quarterback to know Jarrett Lee simply doesn't have it. I don't need to be a coach to know that this team isn't disciplined. People pay and donate a shite ton of money to see a good product on the field, not to see talent wasted by Les-fricktard-Miles... I don't care what you are, losing to Bama and UF two years in a row (and I'm bracing myself to get used to that, btw) and near losses to UGA and MSU and a close game with La Tech with nothing but a bunch of BS excuses isn't something to be proud of. Not with the talent we have. You're a fricking idiot if you think we have to suck Miles' balls to keep our tickets. People are entitled to their own opinions.
We're lucky not to be 6-4 right now. At some point, LSU fans have to reach a point where we just agree on the fact that what we are seeing on the field is a talented but underachieving squad that's lost its killer instinct, swagger, and discipline. So many of you "positigers" are in denial and using the fact that Miles inherited an amazing team and won 10 games a year to prove that this year and last year are nothing to be worried about. To paraphrase the great Lewis Black, "You can't view footage of a Land Rover running over a cat and say the cat was trying to kill itself."
We're lucky not to be 6-4 right now. At some point, LSU fans have to reach a point where we just agree on the fact that what we are seeing on the field is a talented but underachieving squad that's lost its killer instinct, swagger, and discipline. So many of you "positigers" are in denial and using the fact that Miles inherited an amazing team and won 10 games a year to prove that this year and last year are nothing to be worried about. I'm with Chicot!
I'm not saying everything is great. We've got a Porsche with a cracked distributor cap, and it's gonna sputter. You don't throw up your hands and trade it in for a Daewoo. You fix the distributor cap and enjoy your Porsche. I know a lot of you are impatient, but unfortunately the cap is on back order for two years (2008-2009). The original designs never called for JL or JJ to be our starting QB yet. In two more years when JJ is a senior, we'll be rockin'.
For those of you that say Crowton's system is messed up because he can't adapt to inexperienced personal should remember that this situation is an aberration. In virtually every year, we have experienced QBs. And when we have those he's been able to put up some big offensive numbers. I'd rather keep the Porsche and wait for the part.
