Roger?? I normally agree with you on most subjects but you are totally blind to how this works. You say you are a libertarian but obviously that doesn’t apply to the NCAA. The only entity dirtier than the federal government. Don’t be a hypocrite Eskimo.

This has more to do with LSU compliance dept than anything at this point.

Wade isn't fired, he's under contract for 5 years. I believe in personal responsibility and this is 100% on Will Wade

The key to his return lies with him, not Alleva. All he has to do is cooperate with the BoS and AD

Cave now so you fire your coach for free

That's the stupidest thing I have heard on here in awhile. So you fire the coach before he has been found guilty of anything? And you somehow think that's going to negate his buyout?

If he is found guilty of wrong doing g you still get to fire him for free...after the season.

Wade coached for UK, Alabama, Florida, etc, would you still support him, or would you be screaming that he’s a cheater?

it's not even whether he cheated or not. The point is, this is not the time to figure this out. If a player is proven to have received improper benefits, the season will be vacated anyway.

To answer your question, yes we would yell they are a cheaters but I would still ridicule any university that chose this path.

“Not Alleva”

He was hired two years ago by Joe. This will most certainly directly reflect back on Joe.

Will has been subpoenaed. Asking him to be grilled by Joe or the board before he testifies in court is a juvenile move and one that wasn’t needed with one game to go in the regular season.

As has been the case more times than not of late, this has been badly handled by the LSU administration.

Alleva set him up plain and simple. He knew Wade cant come and talk about anything until he goes to court. He just did it to make him self look good. It was F King and Alleva that called the meeting not the compliance department.

Right now, you are looking like the "low IQ type."

Not at all. The BoS and officers gave a duty to protect the university

This isn't punishment, it's due diligence.

That's not what happened. If he is guilty this doesnt protect the university one bit. It's a bullshite PR stunt. But you are the genius and we are just pleebs.

“ A duty to protect the University”

30 games have been played. Their due diligence is coming at tad late. Disrupting the final game of the season was ridiculous and not expecting the fan reaction was par for the course as for as our current administration is concerned. imo

Most of these people have no clue about running institutional damage control. They have convinced themselves that Alleva is at fault, not Wade, that a "offer" is not a violation, "no money changed hands" so it doesn't count, "he didn't actually say money." etc. Keep it up though, your posts plant little seeds of doubt causing them to consider for a second that they could be wrong, and that scares them to death.
