Help me out here ? I am an old man who was that six foot ten carribbean islander with the seven foot arm span who would start at the top of the key , palm the ball one hand handed take one step and destroy the hoop along any body dumb stay underneath .He was my favorite dunker !

No mention of Shaq? He may not have had the hops and gracefulness of some of these smaller guys, but none were more intimidating or vicious. How many have shattered more backboards in the history of the game?

I have to say that, even though he was NOT a good basketball player altogether, Glover Jackson had a 50+ vertical. It was otherworldly. Also, I'm not sure we can say his name around here, but Lester Earl was also quite a leaper.

Jackson and Scales were just ridiculous. Marlon is like that. Glover could grab a quarter off the top of the backboard. Many said they witnessed it at practice.

Jose “El Grillo” Vargas. He was a SUPER Nice guy. You have to ask where he got that 280ZX from????? Met him one day outside of Mike’s Den with my son when he was in school. My son had a class with him.

Ice Reynolds was a great player (reminded me of George Gervin) but I don't think he had the leaping ability of the others on your list.
