So who exactly are the top “wants” for everyone at OC and DC? I’ve seen names like Marcus Freeman and Jim Leonard for DC mentioned, haven’t really read much as far as OC.
I feel out of touch since I opened this thread and thought “Harrell would be solid” - only to see others saying no

You forgot about the RPO where the running back always keeps it and gains 2 yards. Haha
Haha damn my bad. 2 running plays.
Don't have to be an offensive genius to get at least double that amount into a playbook.

Harrell is an air raid kind of guy.. which puts up big passing yardage stats.. but doesn’t usually amount to winning the BIG games.
You need a running game. Good offensive teams should average at least 160 rushing yards per game.
Keeps the defense rested, clock managed and makes the red zone offense more effective.
They want him out of USC.

USC fans want him gone with Helton from what I’ve seen

I think promoting Russ Callaway to OC and bringing in DJ Mangas as PGC would be a great move. If we go for an OC outside the building then Jeff Lebby would be at the very top of my list.

Watch an ISU game. The QB is mobile and runs the RPO to the top of his capability. The tight ends are great blockers, but get used a ton in the middle of the field. There is down the field passing attack as well a swing game to the tail backs.
Meanwhile, their running back is in the Heisman discussion.
Tom Manning. That’s who you get.

Graham Harrell will be the new offensive coordinator.
A mike leach air raid disciple? I’ll pass!!! I don’t think O is stupid enough to make a hire like this, but if he does he can kiss his job goodbye

We have an excellent system. I'm hoping Callaway gets the job with a huge shadown staff and CO-OC to help.

Don’t think he would leave SC for anywhere besides a HC gig. But whatever it wouldn’t be a horrible hire
I was actually wondering if CEO would poach a DC or position coach out of SC considering we are likely to lose two recruits to them. Did not look to see if there were any worthy or not.
