You gotta think the plan to shut down hurts is similar to the Louisville game in 2016

When they shut down Lamar Jackson. That guy was a special kind of runner and aranda had the perfect game plan. Idk what happened with plumlee but historical LSU shuts down the running qbs. Good thing for us is hurts ain’t as fast as plumlee I don’t think.

3 weeks for Aranda to prepare for Hurts and that offense. I’m confident we will slow them down. 45-24 Tigers.

Or the Alabama game that same year. You know, the one where Aranda completely shut him down but we scored zero points

The Rant was debating Dlepit or Stevens to spy but honestly Brooks has thr wheels and power to Spy Hurts

I agree with Brooks being the spy. Delpit has had a tough time with open field tackles.

OU runs a lot of option concepts so you will have a QB player and a pitch player on almost every play. On pass plays a LB will spy him. Different guys will be QB players during that game depending on formation and keys but highly doubt Delpit or Stevens will be spying him consistently on pass plays.
